  • Sum: Added vertical block copying. Added multi core search and optimizations with DView Pro, searching 9 times faster in most cases. Copy to clipboard can now copy larger text.
  • Add: multi core search and optimizations with Depeche View Pro. improves search performance by factor 9 in most cases, or even more with complex queries. Uses by default as many threads as cpu cores found.
  • Add: vertical block copying. keep ctrl and left mouse button pressed, then move vertical and to the right. Great for structured text like log files and CSV.
  • Add: copy to clipboard is now possible with text larger then 10 mb. dview will ask once per session if a large copy > 30 mb is intended.
  • Add: command line option -code n to set a codepage for better viewing and editing of some text files. May only work with a limited set of codepages.

  • CHG: MAJOR CHANGE IN DEFAULT BEHAVIOUR: AutoFilter mode is now active by default, because filtered views are basically the same as a search result list in every editor, and common practice. In AutoFilter mode, filter button no longer shows an "A", as this is now default. Instead, disabling AutoFilter now shows three dots on the filter button.
  • CHG: USAGE CHANGE: SHIFT+Cursor and CONTROL+Cursor: SHIFT+CursorDown/Up now ALWAYS scrolls fast through the text, no matter if search term is given or not.
