New in LISCAD 11.3 (Aug 13, 2015)

  • Some of the new features include:
  • Leica Captivate - Leica's new range of instruments using Captivate software are supported in both Field Transfer and Data Conversions.
  • Grade and Aspect Display - New model display options show a directional arrow as well as the values of grade and aspect for each triangle in the model surface.
  • 3D Color Banding for Elevation, Grade and Aspect - Allows easy configuring and 3D Display of the model with respect to your desired bands of elevation, grade and aspect.
  • Point Cloud Color enhanced - Point clouds scan points imported via data conversions may have color based on intensity or real world color.
  • Averaging of Points - Creates new points at the mean positions of point clusters. The point clusters can be selected by block or point ID's combined with search tolerences. Great for averaging the data after multiple positions have been observed to the same physical objects.
  • Join Lines by Trace - Great for simplifying inappropriately segmented data which is often sourced from various CAD systems.
  • Photo Flags - Image flags can be displayed at points and polygons to easily see which objects have images attached.
  • Best Fit Circle - A great new tool to use in dimensional control surveying and in particular spool surveys, commonly needed in the oil and gas industries, or wherever pipes or circular structures need to be checked.
  • Google KML exchange - Now allows integrated transformation from WGS 84 to your LISCAD projection when importing KML, and vice verca when exporting KML. The export now also allows for sizing of images
  • AutoCAD 2015 Exchange - This latest AutoCAD release is supported for import and CAD Output.
  • Nikon Nivo - This latest Nikon product is supported in Field Transfer.
  • e-Plan enhancements - Various enhancements for all Australian e-Plan jurisdictions
