  • Both NeoRouter client and server support OpenWrt Attitude Adjustment (brcm47xx/ar71xx/x86)
  • NeoRouter Network Explorer for Linux and FreeBSD
  • The new NeoRouter GUI client provides the similar look & feel and features as the Windows/Mac edition client, that supports computer list management, add-ons management and so on. It runs on all supported Linux distros and FreeBSD. To launch the application, simply run the command "nrclient.sh". The JRE 1.6+ is required.
  • Show Android devices in the computer list in all editions of NeoRouter clients
  • NeoRouter implemented native VPN on Android 4.0+ devices, that can be access from any other PC/devices in the NeoRouter network.
  • Customize virtual IP address (static IP address)

New in NeoRouter Mesh Portable 2.0.3.4178 (Sep 11, 2013)

  • What's new:
  • IE10 and Blackberry10 support for NeoRouter Remote Access Pro (HTML5) and NeoRouter Web Console Pro.
  • Bug fixes:
  • Fixed bug in client that may cause "Already connected" error. This may happen when the server is too busy to response the sign in request from client and the client keep trying sign in. The fix will void from this scenario and reduce the load from server when server is very busy.
  • Some small fixes related to SSL and exception handling in some edge cases.

New in NeoRouter Mesh Portable 2.0.1.4090 (Sep 11, 2013)

  • Changes:
  • Drop the Network Bridge feature
  • From this release, NeoRouter Mesh does not support Network Bridge feature anymore, hence it does not support point-to-site and site-to-site VPN neither. However, we are working on a new product called NeoRouter Connector, that will implement the similar feature using a new approach.

  • Improved NR client for FreeBSD automatically detects the NIC interface name by default. This name can be manually specified in Feature.ini as well.

  • Bug fixes:
  • Fixed critical bugs that may cause NeoRouter client fail to connect to the server or cannot sign in or keep reconnecting
  • Fixed leak of client objects in the NeoRouter server. In some scenarios, the bug may cause the server use up the backlog slots, then reject new connections from NeoRouter clients.
  • Fixed the bug in the NeoRouter service (client side). In some scenarios, especially unstable network envrionments, the client may lost chance to reconnect/sign in to the server or switch the server.
  • Fixed bug that may cause add-ons disappeared in Network Explorer
