  • In case you want to revert back to previous version of the software, you can replace the current version with an older one. Make sure to uninstall this version first.
  • IT IS NOT ADVISABLE to run this version along with previous versions of the software.
  • Made URLs open in the user's default web browser.
  • Fixed a bug when the recorder would deadlock in some OS configurations, which may result in schedules not starting or stopping on time, as well as the main GUI window hanging up.
  • Made software compatible with Windows 10. Performed all necessary tests for that OS.
  • Made UI more DPI aware, which should not cut off words in the UI when displaying the app at higher DPI settings.
  • Added GUI menus to the main Simple Radio Recorder window, as well as to the schedule windows for quick access to available options.
  • Added a new features to repeat schedules. Scheduled recordings can now be set to repeat automatically on specific days of the week, days of the month, or on arbitrary days and time.
  • Improved the ability to save and open schedules from .SRRD files by double-clicking them in the Windows Explorer.
  • Added a new feature to open previously saved .SRRD files by dragging them into the Simple Radio Recorder window, or its program icon.

  • Fixed registration bug when an error stating that the "Web server is unavailable" might have been shown during registration process.

  • Made the program and mp3 encoder compatible with Windows Vista/7.
  • Added the button to the main window that allows to bring up the Options window for Sound Input recording.
  • Redesigned some of the visual elements in the main window.
  • Redesigned the tray animation icon, made it better visible for Windows 7 systems.
  • Redesigned the internal mechanism for recording in mp3 format, improved stability of the recording on slower systems by increasing the internal buffer size for holding the intermediary sound data. Also added additional buffers to the mp3 encoder and upped the synchronous conversion threshold that will increase the program's memory consumption but will decrease CPU usage and improve stability when recording on a busy system. The program will be less likely to display the "Could not sustain conversion rate" error.
  • Support for Windows 9x has been discontinued. This will decrease the overall size of the program and make it run faster.
  • Removed a default behavior when the system was locked before it was sent into sleep mode or hibernated.
  • Added new command line parameter: syslock
  • Redesigned the Sound Input tab of the Options window to conform with the sound mixer architecture on Windows Vista/7 systems. Removed sound input lines to conform with the new system architecture.
  • Redesigned the Command Line help window, made it resizable and more user-friendly.
  • Fixed the bug when free user registrations were rejected on some systems.
  • Allowed the following windows to be moved by dragging their bodies (opposite to dragging their title bars): Scheduling windows, Main window.
  • Redesigned the part of the program responsible for reporting errors, made it more aware of user preferences and anti-virus program restrictions in users' email clients.
