Bat-To-Exe

Bat-To-Exe is an ultra-simplistic software program whose purpose is to help you perform seamless file type conversion from batch (.bat) to executable format (.exe). It doesn't come loaded with any extra options, so you don't have to worry about complicated configuration settings.

The installation operation is a fast and simple job that shouldn't impose any difficulties, thanks to the fact that it contains only familiar options. Once it's over, you are greeted by a small window with a plain and simple structure which shows all options provided by Bat-To-Exe.

All you have to do is point out a BAT item using the traditional file browser, along with an output destination and name for the EXE file before proceeding with the whole conversion process. This task doesn't take a long time, depending on the size of the file.

Once it's finished, Bat-To-Exe shows a dialog that notifies you whether or not the job was successful, after which you can inspect the newly created file if everything went smoothly. There are no other notable options available here.

We haven't come across any stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that Bat-To-Exe didn't hang, crash or display error messages. It had a good response time to commands, carried out conversion jobs rapidly, and remained light on system resources consumption.

On the other hand, it features limited options. For example, it doesn't support batch processing, so you are restricted to converting only one file at a time, which can be tiresome when looking to perform multiple conversions on large files. We must also keep in mind that Bat-To-Exe hasn't been updated for a long time. Otherwise, it gets the job done and can be handled even by inexperienced users.
