Manage your time by adding your tasks to the application, which tracks them, displays a breakdown with the option of reports and time management suggestions.. #Time tracker #Track time #Time managment #Organizer #Scheduler #Timer
Time is money and this is best viewed in your paycheck. Some businesses strictly count working hours in order to determine employee efficiency to perform proper evaluation. Tracking time is also useful for personal tasks and applications like Rachota are a suitable example of how you can keep a well-organized timetable.
One thing you need to check before taking the application for a spin is whether or not you have Java Runtime Environment deployed on your computer, since Rachota is built on this platform. If not, it's going to be the only install process you go through, because this app is portable.
For enhanced accommodation, the application is equipped with an example task which starts as soon as you run it. The main window is pretty well-organized, with multiple tabs to quickly access day, history and analytics. A few navigation buttons are at your fingertips, but it would have been useful to see an implemented calendar to better view lengthy tasks.
The main principle is to track your working hours and routines, with options to set default length of a task. This also determines when a task is due to end judging by the starting time. More tasks can be added to a single day, but only one at a time can be set active.
You stumble upon a slight inconvenience when adding tasks, because recurrent ones need to be created from the options menu, although it's the same creation window. If you overlook this minor issue, all goes smooth, with fields for name, keywords, notes, three levels of priority to choose from, notifications and whether or not it's a private task.
There's a real time tracker responsible for displaying a graph with your progress based on several variables, such as given working hours, as well as average total time or for specific days. Needless to say that hitting the “Generate report” button lets you save results to file, with a decent amount of choices like TXT, HTML and CSV, with an image file automatically generated as well.
Rachota is a handy application for keeping a close eye on the amount of effort and time you invest in projects on a daily basis. It feels a little rough around the edges overall, especially because of the lack of a calendar, but once you get the hang of it you can easily start improving your workflow based on accurate statistics and analysis.
