Cryptographic Encryptor Portable is a lightweight encryption application that is able to keep your documents private from unauthorized viewing by setting up passwords.

Since this is the portable version of the program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry, and you can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you want to encrypt or decrypt files on the breeze.

It sports a plain but intuitive GUI that allows users to perform most operations with just a few clicks. You can either copy the text and paste it into the main window of the application, or add a file to the list.

Documents can be uploaded by either dragging and dropping them into the primary panel, or using the built-in browse button.

In order to encrypt the text or the files, you are required to pick an algorithm and provide a password. The decryption feature asks for the needed password to reveal the content of the protected items.

The application gives you the possibility of selecting from a wide range of encryption algorithms, such as AES (128/192/256-bit) RC2/4/5/6, DES and Triple DES, Blowfish, Twofish, Serpent, Camellia, Skipjack, CAST-256, MARS, IDEA, SEED, GOST, XTEA and SHACAL-2.

You can make Cryptographic Encryptor Portable show or hide the characters of your password, request password confirmation, integrate into the Windows context menu, and display only the selected algorithms. By default, the program appends a new file extension (.encrypted or .decrypted), but you can add a suffix, prefix and date.

You can pick a default algorithm, change the application’s appearance by selecting from different themes and choosing the style of the tab sheet and location of the menu tabs. Hotkeys are also available, but they cannot be reassigned.
