PCShow Buzz

PCShow Buzz is a reliable application that enables you to play radio and TV channels from all over the world. It does not require any hardware in order to carry out its purpose.

The tool is very simple to install, as it does not come bundled with any unpleasant surprises and it does not take very long. The interface you come by is quite well-organized and presents several buttons, panes and tabs, without generating a cluttered main window. Consequently, it is easy to navigate, whether you are a power user or have no previous experience.

In the Channels Explorer area, you can select all channels according to country or genre, view the history, or add items to a Favorites directory for faster access to them.

In the ribbon bar you can view the channel which is currently playing, or a list with all of them along with details such as station name, genre, status and bandwidth. You can schedule a channel, create your own personalized broadcast, look for a specific channel (by name, description, genre, country, station type, language), or configure options.

The settings panel helps you enable PCShow Buzz to launch at Windows startup, make the program’s frame to always stay on top of other windows, hide it in the system tray, prompt you before playing a scheduled channel and do not show the mouse pointer when playing a channel.

In the toolbar, you can load PureRadio (it needs to be separately installed), bookmark the current channel, switch to full screen mode, and adjust volume. In addition to that, you can zoom in and out the image, as well as move forward and back (frame by frame; this cannot be done by using the keyboard).

In conclusion, PCShow Buzz is quite a handy piece of software, and a good choice for people interested in playing a TV channel or radio station from their PC. The interface is suitable to all user categories, the response time is good and the computer’s performance is not going to be burdened.
