SysTrayClipNotes

SysTrayClipNotes is a portable application capable of storing up to 25 Clipboard entries. It gives you the possibility to manage clips and convert cases. The program includes approachable options for all types of users, even those less experienced.

Since it's not wrapped in a setup package, you can save the app files in a custom location on the disk or copy them to a USB flash drive to directly launch SysTrayClipNotes on any machine. It doesn't add new entries to the Windows registry.

At startup, it creates an icon in the taskbar notifications area and sits there silently while you're carrying on with your normal PC activity, without any interruptions. It provides quick access to its options via the right-click menu.

The main panel has a dated appearance and contains the Clipboard queue. Once this is filled with multiple clips, you can convert text to uppercase, lowercase or invert the case, copy and delete clips, paste new ones, as well as refresh information displayed.

It's also possible to copy predefined data as TXT, C-type comments or HTML comments (such as username and timestamp), and to create backups by archiving unnecessary clips.

As we expected, the program had minimal impact on the overall performance of the computer in our tests, thanks to the fact that it needed a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. On the other hand, we experienced compatibility issues on newer Windows, probably because it hasn't been updated for such a long time.

To conclude, SysTrayClipNotes is a free software utility that offers a simple solution for keeping track of the Clipboard history and managing clips. However, it's old and doesn't live up to expectations on modern Windows.
