Time is really beginning to take control of our lives, and one of the logical consequences is that you have to do more things in less time.

I started looking for a program that would help me keep track of all my appointments, remind me of all the upcoming meetings and all the events that I always seem to forget. I stumbled upon Rapid Reminder Pro one day and I said to myself: "What do I have to lose? I’ll give it a try".

The first thing I noticed after installing the program is that even though Rapid Reminder Pro is not freeware, it’s not expensive at all and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I discovered plenty of useful features that, if I may say, are indispensable to any organized person. The first thing you will learn upon coming into contact with the program is how to use it and you’ll also discover the limitations in the demo version. Although it may seem complex, it’s pretty simple and easy to use.

I always wanted to make plans before going out shopping and I was amazed to find a very useful shopping list feature that allows you to keep track of your office or home needs and get reminders about what to purchase next time you go shopping. It will add up your costs and you can print out the list to take it with you. You can even print a blank list to place on the refrigerator, for example, so you can tick off your requirements when they come to mind. Items from the Recipe section can easily be added to this list by clicking a button. You won’t have any problem storing information about your music collection or even keeping track of your golf scores, the courses you played, playing partners, notes or adding unlimited pictures for that perfect moment you want to remember.

Another positive is that you can schedule the automatic change of your wallpaper. You select which pictures you want to display on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis. That means you will always have a picture of the loved ones on your screen and it can even help you remember your cousin’s birthday by displaying a picture of him so you won’t forget to give him a call.

If you experienced my problems and lost all your data in other programs, be happy to know that Rapid Reminder Pro has a nice feature that will remind you to backup your computer files. It will not perform the operation itself but it will load the allocated software to do the job and will take note of the date you backed up so it will remind you next time. There will be no excuses why you have not backed up your important files.

Another useful function is the Motor Vehicle including Log Book and Expenses. You can now record all of the information pertaining to your motor vehicle/s, including an expense and log book for each vehicle and provision for unlimited pictures with slide show. There is also a facility to report a blank log book to record those miles you covered for business purposes.


The Good

The best thing about Rapid Reminder Pro is that it has all these features that you can use for almost anything you want to be reminded of or you can easily keep your own journal that will finally be private and password protected.

The Bad

As we all now, Rapid Reminder Pro is not a free program and the producer asks for a small amount of money to register. Some features are not available in the unregistered version.

The Truth

In my opinion the program interface needs to be a little more user friendly because there are a lot of hidden and very useful options that you may need but you don’t have the time to look for them. Besides this small inconvenient it is probably the handiest software you will own. What will gain your trust is the fact that the program is clean and does not contain any spyware, viruses, Trojans and backdoors.

If you really need these features and you have the chance to try Rapid Reminder Pro, I’m sure you will find all the functions you always needed and all of them in one package without having to waste time with different programs to cover all your needs.
