If you're a big fan of Minecraft, you're probably familiar with all the resource packs available online that can be used to customize your experience and possibly make you enjoy the game even more. However, sometimes it's just downright impossible to get everything done right whenever deploying the desired customization pack. Here's when specialized software solutions such as Minecraft Tool step into action.
As suggested above, this application can be used whenever you're having a hard time deploying resource packs to your Minecraft installation folder all by yourself. Doing so manually can be a bit confusing since Minecraft gets installed by default in a hidden location of your computer (AppData - Roaming - .minecraft). However, in order for the application to run smoothly, you need to launch Minecraft first and make sure that everything that's needed to run the game is actually downloaded on your computer. Otherwise, the app won't recognize the game and won't select the resource folder automatically.
The actual resource installation process should take no more than a few seconds since all you have to do is provide Minecraft Tool with the location of your desired resource pack and hit the "Install" button in the main window. Prior to that, you obviously need to download such a resource pack, since this tool doesn't come with sample files. In the main window, you should also be able to see the number of resource packs that have been already installed.
Besides actual mods, it should also be noted that Minecraft Tool also features a built-in shaders installer. This means that those of you that boast a more powerful video card can add complex shadow and lighting effects to the game. More so, it is compatible with all known shaders available, so having realistic grass blowing in the wind or water that actually reflects objects realisticaly will no longer be just a dream.
More so, you don't need to install this application on your computer, since it's portable and can be used by merely unpacking the archive it comes in and launching the executable. It can also be executed from a USB flash drive or external HDD. Its interface is simplistic and provides the end users with high overall accessibility, regardless of their overall PC skills or previous experience with similar software.
If you're having trouble with installing resource packs in Minecraft, you can safely rely on Minecraft Tool. It's portable, comes with simple controls and can get the job done in no time.
