Scroll To Top for Firefox

Scroll To Top is a Firefox add-on that displays a button on every page, which lets you to quickly scroll to the top, as the name says. When you're on the top of the page, the button turns its direction downward.

It comes packed with a handful of useful settings that can be adjusted by all types of users, even the ones with no previous experience in software tools.

You can get started by specifying the button's location by selecting a vertical and horizontal alignment: between top, middle and bottom, respectively left, middle and right.

Plus, you can adjust the scrolling speed and set the visibility behavior. The last option is able to make the button either hide at the top, always show, or automatically hide after five seconds.

Other settings of Scroll To Top let you select the icon size and arrow type between single and dual mode, as well as enable "Smart Direction" to automatically rotate the icon according to the scrolling direction. However, we haven't actually noticed any difference when enabling and disabling this feature (it looks like it is activated by default). Modifications are saved in real-time mode, but they can be restored to their factory values, as well as exported for further use.

The Firefox extension does not slow down the web browser, or cause it to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation. Scroll To Top comes in handy especially if your mouse does not have a scroll wheel or it is damaged.
