After the trial period, all piwigo.com plans are subject to a fee. However, you can download Piwigo for free from piwigo.org and install it on the server of your choice. To do this, you need to have an existing infrastructure, and the skills to manage Piwigo's installation, updates and backups, as well as its setup and customization.

All Piwigo users have access to our customer support by email. Customers who choose a Team or Enterprise plan receive priority support. Customers who choose the VIP plan also have access to telephone support.

Users who host Piwigo by themselves do not have access to support, unless they opt for a maintenance contract.

You can pay by PayPal, by credit card via Stripe, or bank transfer within the European Union.

You are not automatically blocked. We will contact you to offer you to upgrade or order additional storage space.

If the storage space included in your offer is not enough for you, you can order additional space.The price will be added to that of your subscription (annual payment).

No. The platform sends an email before the end of the subscription period, inviting you to renew. Renewals are always clearly stated.

No, you are limited to one Piwigo per subscription.

Administrators have access to the Piwigo administration, and thus to all the features: create / edit / delete files, albums, tags, users, access to statistics... Some super-administrators can change the look of your Piwigo and install or uninstall plugins. In Piwigo, administrators include "administrator" and "webmaster" user statuses.

Users can only login to your Piwigo gallery to view and download content that an administrator has given them access to. In Piwigo, users include "User" and "Generic" statuses.

Contributors are available only to customers with a Team, Enterprise or VIP plan. They are special users, who are allowed to import files to your Piwigo library from your web gallery. They do not have access to the administration. In Piwigo, this refers to non-administrator users who have the right to add files to the gallery using the Community plugin

By default, when you create your account, the URL of your Piwigo is [yourusername].piwigo.com. We also can associate Piwigo with your own domain name (for example, media.myteam.com). To do this, just contact support.

To choose the right plan for you, you need to identify the number of administrators who will need access to Piwigo, as well as the storage space you will need. You also need to know what features are essential for your use. If you need help choosing your plan, contact us !

If you already host a Piwigo on your own infrastructure and you want to subscribe to a hosting offer, it is possible! We will transfer your data for free.

A plugin is an extension that you can add to Piwigo with one click, and that enhances Piwigo with a new feature or modifies an existing feature. Some "Premium" plugins are only available with certain subscription plans (see next question).

Piwigo's interface is translated by default into 70 languages, which you can choose to activate or not on your account. In order to be able to translate the content (album names, photo descriptions...), you need to choose at least a Personal Pro plan.

For Piwigo's self-hosting to be financially attractive, you need to meet two criteria.

• You must have a server infrastructure on which to host Piwigo, with enough disk space for your photo library;
• You must have the in-house skills to install Piwigo and manage the server (even if you opt for a maintenance contract).

If these conditions are not met, then a subscription package with hosting included will probably be more interesting for you.

Once you have used the 3 hours of support included in your contract, you can order additional hours (200 € excl. taxes for 2 hours). If they are not used by the anniversary date of your contract, they are lost.

Our support team keeps track of the time spent on each ticket. When closing a ticket, support will tell you how much time is left on your package.

No, only organizations that have opted for a maintenance contract can order support hours.

To host Piwigo, you need an Apache or Nginx web server, MySQL 5.6+ or Maria DB 10.1+, PHP 7.4+, a graphic library (ImageMagick or GD). For more information, visit this page.

We do not deal with the implementation of backups. However, we can advise your technical teams on the best backup strategy to adopt.

You must provide us with SSH access to your server so that we can carry out some of the tasks specified in the maintenance contract.
