Add Comments Droplet

I’m trying to transition my Mac’s file organization into the modern era, and moving away from simply having folder structures scattered across various cloud storage services and local drives.

A big part of that effort is jumping on the metadata bandwagon and using Smart Folders in Finder, the way they were meant to be used.

To that end, I’ve written a script for adding comments to files.  Simply drop the file or files onto the app, and it will ask for the comment to be added.

You will be prompted to select Add or Batch Add.  Add will request a comment for each file added, and Batch Add will take the initial comment and attach it to every file dropped.

Comments, Questions, Suggestions?  I’m here to help and always looking for feedback!
