What's new in 185Graph 4.2H

Feb 9, 2015
  • Grid Form: Fixed Kfactor error trap error (Intenational Units only)

New in 185Graph 4.2G (May 27, 2014)

  • Grid Form: Updated printing and copy fuctions to work with Windows 7 and 8. No longer a need to set desktop compilation

New in 185Graph 4.2E (Jul 9, 2012)

  • No program changes. Modified help "Known Issues" to address Graph print issues associated with Windows VISTA and Windows 7 operating systems

New in 185Graph 4.2D (Feb 16, 2012)

  • Graph: Fixed print bug where Graph could not be printed in MS Windows VISTA and Windows 7 operating systems.

New in 185Graph 4.2C (Feb 16, 2012)

  • Fixed error trap issue on discharge form, backspace on 2nd column first cell throws error that shuts down program.
  • Add clear button to 1st baseline test on Pump Rating form
  • Fixed autograph for Supply which was inadvertently broken.
  • Fixed print output on graph form to avoid inclusion of print dialog box.
  • Graph Clear now also clears Pump Rating form.

New in 185Graph 4.2B (Feb 16, 2012)

  • Pump Rating: Added ability to include negative suction pressure for fire pumps.
  • Pump Rating: Improved print to eliminate printing of zeros/headers when no info entered

New in 185Graph 4.2A (Feb 16, 2012)

  • Fixed STDOLE2.TLB OLE registry error on install for MS Windows VISTA and Windows 7 operating systems.
  • Graph: Fixed print bug where Graph could not be printed in MS Windows VISTA and Windows 7 operating systems.
  • Pump Rating: Upgraded old Pump Adjustment form to compare three pump tests for rating. Graphing features include automatic labeling and color coding. Now includes data entry for suction and discharge pressure ratings, adjusts for velocity pressure based on inlet and outlet pump flange diameters.
  • Discharge Orifcie: Upgraded to interface with three pump tests on Pump Rating form.
  • Supply: Eliminated link to Pump adjustment as this is now handled independently.

New in 185Graph 4.1C (Feb 16, 2012)

  • Multi-Demand: fixed bug where multi-tasking to other applications caused open Multi-Demand form to not be visible when returning to 185Graph application.

New in 185Graph 4.1B (Feb 16, 2012)

  • Graph: Fixed bug unique to French locale where supply would fail to graph when maximum pressure contained decimal point instead of comma.

New in 185Graph 4.1A (Feb 16, 2012)

  • Graph: Added "Undo" and "Redo" function. The program will now save up to 100 screen shots in a Picture array automatically based on user changes to the graph image. Undo will erase the recent changes one at a time. Redo adds back all erased changes. Clear resets the Pic array.
  • Multi-Demand, Demand & Graph: Added a new Multi-Demand form. This form is accessible via the Data menu selection. Multi-Demand can graph up to 10 demands with the Graph "Graph" or "AutoGraph" menu selections. It includes an auto labeling feature, which can be enabled by the user. Demand flow, pressure and elevations can be entered manually, or sequentially pasted to this form via the Demand form (new paste feature added to the Demand form with pink text boxes to depict the information to be pasted). The File "Open" and "Save" menu selections will write, read and covert Multi-Demand, Demand, Supply and Label data. The older *.grf file format has been supported.
  • Grid, Tree, Head, Demand and Multi-Demand: Now supports elevation entry of up to 1500 ft./460m.
  • Grid, Tree: MEHP (minimum end head pressure) to 350 psi (24.1 bar) is now supported.
  • Tree: The Tree calc logic has been updated so that the closest flowing head on the odd long branchline corresponds with the closest flowing head on the full long branchline. The former calc was slightly conservative as the heads adjacent to the riser were flowed.
  • Supply: Changed the corresponding flow point where friction calculations are made from 5,000 lpm to 3,785 lpm to corresponde with US units of 1,000 gpm and eliminate graph discrepency after conversion between units.
  • Supply: Fixed bug where clicking 950 lpm or 1900 lpm for hose erroneously applied 250 lpm or 500 lpm.
  • Graph: Stopped disabling this form when demand and supply forms are made visible. This fixes a bug where these forms do not return to the top layer when multi-tasking with other applications in windows.
  • Graph: Clear: Expanded to clear all forms and reset the title block to the default. Title block visibility and Graph scales are not affected.
  • Friction: Eliminated formatting for Total Loss field to make data entry less cumbersome.

New in 185Graph 4.0J (Mar 11, 2008)

  • Restored error trap that ensures adequate crossmain segements are entered. Sufficient cross main segements should be entered to cover all flowing branch lines.
