  • During startup, a certificate authority is created, if one does not already exist, to be used for HTTPS and IEEE.
  • Storing the passphrase for the certificate authority is now mandatory.
  • Limitations:
  • For multiple servers scenario, all pre-existing or imported root certificates should have the same passphrase.
  • Existing root certificates without a stored passphrase will remain as is and will not be replaced.
  • The passphrase will be stored the next time the root certificate is used by AXIS Camera Station.

  • Imported root certificates without protected private keys are not fully supported.

  • The information in the select storage view was improved by adding two new columns:
  • Used storage: the amount of storage which is used by the device.
  • Oldest recording: the time and date of the oldest recording on the device.
  • Added possibility to turn on automatic image rotation in Image configurations.
  • Added possibility to show live view actions in a hotspot.
  • Introduced a user setting for modifying the playback duration for instant replay in Streaming.

  • Improved execution time when upgrading the recording database from version 16 to 17. This affects servers that are upgrading from 5.37 or below to 5.44 and upcoming versions.

  • Fixed an issue with NAS file path written incorrectly in right to left languages.
  • Fixed an issue where links to recordings stored on S3008 recorders were not added to alarms.
  • Solved an issue where the warning dialog sometimes didn't appear when closing an add or edit map view tab without saving.
  • Changed default value of the low quality streaming profile from 5 to 8 fps.
  • Solved an issue where sometimes recording indicators were not shown for cameras with long names.
  • Solved an issue where the AXIS Camera Station Client could crash if certain search filters are used during removal of a device.
  • Improved stability when removing old or obsolete recordings stored on the disk.
  • Mechanical PTZ will now work better with multi-lens cameras that used multiple views to interact with PTZ.
  • Solved an issue where the AXIS Camera Station Server could crash when factory defaulting a device with multiple view areas, such as Door Stations.
  • Video stream buffer has been limited to a max value of 2000 ms.
  • Solved an issue where the graph in the Device Event trigger dialog would sometimes display events as coming from the camera even when that was not the case.
