  • Image generation feature intended to be used together with JQuery and HTML5 in order to produce more powerful effects available in the market than today. The image generation feature will generate buttons/images and fonts in a smart way to better fit the needs of JavaScript effects. You will never have to worry about browser compatibility for your fonts when using our image generation effects.
  • Security problem when previewing effects fixed for Internet Explorer
  • New "effect of the moment" feature shows you one of many effects available in the Effect Maker package
  • Max image width/height feature that is set automatically by Effect Maker in order to reduce Flash effect size
  • You can now set your project folder
  • OS X support is now from 10.4, it was a necessary sacrifice in order to implement the new image generation technology
  • Effect Maker now properly copies dependent files when “saving as…” and also notifies you about this in the applet preview window
  • Improvements for the package layout view

New in Advanced Effect Maker Freeware Edition 2.0 (Oct 13, 2009)

  • The application is now plugin based and you can extend it with more downloaded plugins by clicking on the "+" button or going to the File menu.
  • Create, publish and sell your OWN applet packages using the new plugin maker. JavaScript and Java applets can be created easily and Flash applets requires Flash 5 with the Generator Extensions.
  • Full Java(TM) applet support in addition to JavaScript and Macromedia Flash effects
  • A new screenshot based applet menu interface with internal applet preview window
  • The software is now also available in Swedish. Later on we plan on releasing a Spanish and maybe also an Italian version.
  • 20 new applets (in Commercial Edition) and 50 updates to existing applets. When regards to updates, this time we have aimed in improving the loadMovie compatibility of our applets (compatibility with Macromedia Flash projects), better hand cursor support and ability to disable URLs in slide shows or messengers.
  • Some other minor changes are that the tree field has been enhanced, you can now set the project folder, Mac version changes technology to Eclipse SWT to make it more similar to the Windows version, insert button has been added to the multiple file selection field, e.t.c.
