  • Developers working on high-PPI monitors and laptops will find the new UModel UI to be beautifully sharp on high-PPI screens of all sizes, as UModel now takes full advantage of the higher resolution offered by the display to render all graphics with a lot more precision and detail. UML diagrams are now sharper, and text labels are easier to read on high-res displays.

A logical file allows users to access data in a sequence or format that can be different from the physical file. Users who connect to IBM iSeries computers may encounter existing databases constructed with logical files. These were previously not accessible, but are now supported in Version 2012 Release 2
