For the Aqua Data Studio version 19.5 release, we have expanded our server support to include one additional database: MariaDB.
We also added database enhancements for MySQL, Amazon Aurora, Google SQL Cloud, Apache Derby, PostgreSQL, Pivotal Greenplum, SQLite, MS SQL Server, Teradata and Vertica latest versions.
For Visual Analytics we have improved the cell sizing support, sorting to support table calculations. We support custom colors for varying range of values, discrete mode for measure fields and added functionality to expand the width of a column.
In the Query Builder we have added a search feature to find columns easier. We have enhanced the import tools for excel and the data options. We have included some minor enhancements for some of the Databases, Schema Compare and Visual Editing.

New in Aqua Data Studio 19.0.0 (May 1, 2018)

For the Aqua Data Studio version 19.0 release, we have expanded our schema synchronization support to include three additional databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL and Sybase IQ. We have also added significant usability and functional enhancements to our docking framework. We now support MongoDB Views, Decimal128 data type and collations. Version 19 offers Visual Explain plans for Hive, Spark and Impala databases.
Productivity enhancements in Visual Analytics allows users to share filters across worksheets, quickly combine fields and create chart titles directly on the worksheet. Performance enhancements for large datasets include speeding up filter performance dramatically and reducing PDF export time by generating PDFs in native format. Data Label enhancements include showing and hiding data labels on a per field basis, and the introduction of a data label legend. Shape charts now support data label colors and the ability to move data labels.

Chart Title:
You can now show and customize the chart title on your worksheets and dashboards
Size Legend:
We now offer a Size Legend for the measure placed in the Size Deck. The legend shows the range and size distribution for that measure. You can edit the range and size distribution using the Edit Size dialog.
More Charting Enhancements:
Create tooltips with rich text formatting for parameters. Copy and paste a list of values from a clipboard in the parameter. View aggregation calculations in the Visual Analytics status bar when two or more chart segments are highlighted. Pick a color from anywhere on your desktop or the web and assign it to the selected data item. Copy a pivot grid to Web and desktop applications without losing highlighting and formatting of the pasted data. Our new table calculation function returns the number of rows in the partition.
VA Data Label Enhancements:

Turn labels on and off for each measure field individually.
Move Data Labels on Shape Chart:
Reposition data labels to best fit your chart view. Visual Analytics automatically draws a leader line from the label to the data point when you move the label to a new location.
Data Label Colors:
Our new data label color functionality allows customizing the default foreground and background colors of the data labels.

Filter Performance Enhancements:
For larger data sets, the filter response time has reduced from 1 minute 52 seconds to under 2 seconds when items are unchecked from the Filter Deck. Show and Cancel buttons have been introduced to reduce lag time when toggling multiple checkboxes.
Export PDF Performance Enhancements:
PDFs are now exported in native format which results in smaller file sizes and reduced export times when exporting larger data sets. In addition, text and chart elements appear very crisp at higher zoom levels.

MongoDB - MongoSQL:
With Aqua Data Studio's support for MongoDB, we're making it possible to execute SQL queries against one of the most widely adopted NoSQL database management systems. This means that you don't have to be a JSON expert to retrieve and examine data from a MongoDB deployment. Want to create a Collection without typing a line of code? No problem, because our Visual Editor allows you to create collections and even specify collection attributes such as Capped and Storage Size. You can execute queries and modify data using our SQL-92 based MongoSQL syntax and even export your data into Excel with a single click. We've brought all of our easy-to-use and feature rich database functionality to MongoDB; so if you know SQL, you'll feel right at home. In addition, if you're looking for an interactive javascript mongo shell, we've got you covered with MongoShell.
Apache Hive:
Aqua Data Studio introduces support for Apache Hive: the Big Data warehousing product that uses Hadoop's HDFS as storage for providing data summarization, query, and analysis of billions of rows across millions of columns. With Aqua Data Studio 14.0, you can register an Apache Hive connection and use features such as the Query Analyzer Window, FluidShell, Visual Editors, Export Tools, ER Modeler and Schema Script Generator.
APACHE Cassandra:
Aqua Data Studio now supports Apache Cassandra, giving you the ability to connect, query and generate results with Apache's Big Data warehousing system. With Aqua Data Studio 14.0, you can register an Apache Cassandra connection and use features such as the Visual Editors, Table Data Editor, Import / Export Tools, ER Modeler and Schema Script Generator.
Configurable EDITOR Keybindings:
Configurable editor keybindings allow you to make Aqua Data Studio's editor keyboard shortcuts work exactly how you want. Out of the box, we've added Emacs key bindings along side our Default Key Mappings. If you go to File > Options > Key Mappings you can choose Emacs or any other key mapping you've already customized. If you want to modify Emacs settings to your tastes, simply make a copy of the built-in Emacs Key Mapping, rename the copy, then edit its shortcuts to your preferences. Launching Help > Key Assist will let you quickly see what your key bindings are without having to open File > Options.
Emacs Keyboard Shortcuts:
With the addition of the Emacs Key Mappings, we've added another built-in set of keybindings for those who are familiar the long-lived standard. You can clone the Emacs Keymap and make your own variation, just like you can already do with the Default keymap.
Edit Command Keystrokes:
Now it's possible to edit individual keys in a keymapping without having to clone the entire set and rename it. Want to fix just one keystroke in the whole set? No problem. Select it, click the Edit button at the bottom of the Key Mapping dialog, enter your keystrokes, click OK and you are ready to use your new keybinding.
Add Alternate:
With the Add Alternate button at the bottom of the Key Mappings you can use a different keystroke to perform the same command as another keystroke. If you want two other alternates for Paste, add alternate keybindings for them. Alternates are clearly marked in the keymappings with the (alternative) label so you know what the originals are.
Remove Alternate:
Quickly remove any alternate keybindings by clicking on them and clicking the Remove Alternate button at the bottom of the Key Mappings. Alternate keybindings are clearly labeled to make finding and removing them easy.
Quick Filter:
A Quick Filter was added to the Keymappings dialog to make it much easier to find the keys or commands you want to edit. Editing keybindings is now as intuitive as using our Keyassist tool.
Rename Keymap:
If you have an existing Keymapping you can now rename it by selecting it in the Keymaps list then clicking the the Rename button to the right.
Sybase import - 112x faster:
Blazing fast data imports for Sybase ASE and Sybase IQ using Aqua Data Studio's new Bulk Copy mechanism which utilizes Sybase's BCP feature. Insert 200,000+ rows in only a few seconds. Import performance is up to 112x faster than in version 13.
Connection Clustering:
With Connection Clustering, you no longer need to register a separate server per database. Simply register your server, open a Query Analyzer and swap between all of that server's available databases with ease. The Schema Browser will also show you all of the databases on a server and allow you to expand their nodes, not just the one you indicated in the server connection properties. We've added this feature to all database servers that had this limitation including PostgreSQL, Teradata Aster, Greenplum, Netezza, ParAccel and SQL Database (Azure).
For those more technically inclined, PostgreSQL and its ilk have the model of a single connection per database. Once a connection is established to a specific database, the connection cannot be changed to refer to another database. To get around this limitation, Connection Clustering automatically allocates a new connection when the user switches databases, giving the user a streamlined user experience. If the user switches back to a database for which a connection has already been allocated, then that connection is reused.
Browse More Databases:
With Connection Clustering, if you expand a PostgreSQL server connection you can see all of its databases and expand them all. No more need to have one connection per database to explore the contents of your whole server.
Swap Database Context:
Database Context can be changed with the Database Dropdown at the top of the Query Analyzer so that you can execute queries you've already run on another database on the same server. There's no more need for a separate connection on each DB.
Table data editor - 257X faster:
The Table Data Editor's performance has been improved for bulk operations on Big Data sets. We've increased the speed in many of the most commonly used actions. Pasting 100,000 rows and waiting for the final row to finish produced a performance gain of 250x. Previewing SQL for 150,000 rows (50,000 rows Inserted, 50,000 rows Updated, 50,000 rows Deleted) in the Table Data Editor is now 33x faster than before. Some Clear and Delete operations are 16x faster. Other substantial performance gains include Resizing to Full Window, GUID Inserts, Current Date/Time Inserts and Fill Down with numeric values.

Visual Explain Plan for Sybase:
Visual Explan Plans for Sybase ASE and Sybase IQ let you quickly track down performance bottlenecks in your queries by displaying color coded diagrams and reports. Gain insight on resource utilization, wait times, CPU usage, scan counts and more for the queries you are running.
Sybase ASE Visual Explain:
The Sybase ASE Visual Explain Plan includes a Details tab for displaying statistics on each operation, an XML tab to show the XML generated by the server for the explain, and an Advanced tab for Plan Information, Resource Utilization, Cost, Optimizer Metrics and Optimizer Statistics. Mouse hover on nodes in the diagram provides a tool-tip with node statistic details.
Sybase IQ Visual Explain:
The Visual Explain Plan for Sybase IQ includes a Query Plan with a Details table, a Query Timing Chart, and Query Text with server version information and the query executed. The Query Timing Chart offers details on Elapsed Time for each operation, as well as thread count and CPU utilization.
Sybase ASE Explain Plan Options:
There are two options for the Sybase ASE Explain plan; XML and Text. The XML option presents the Explain in diagram form with associated details in the Details, XML and Advanced tabs. The Text option presents the Explain Plan as text with an associated sortable grid with information on Total Logical Reads, Total Physical Reads, Scan Count, Regular Reads Logical, APF Reads Logical, Regular Reads Physical, APF Reads Physical and APF IOs.
Sybase IQ Visual Explain - Query Plan:
The Visual Explain Plan for Sybase IQ Query Plan displays a diagram that provides details for each node. Clicking a node produces Details in the Details tab. Mouse hover on a node provides a tool-tip with statistics.
SQL Server Extended Properties:
For Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and newer, the ability to view, script and edit Extended Properties for Tables, Table Columns, Views, Synonyms, Indexes, Procedures and Functions is added. It's also possible to script comments in ER Diagrams as Extended Properties with our Entity Relationship Modeler.

Scripting Sybase ASE Server Role Permissions is now supported:
Permissions of Server Roles for Sybase ASE database is now included with CREATE, ALTER and DROP when using Script to Window on Server Roles and Database Roles Schema Objects.
Sybase ASE User Defined Messages is added in Aqua Data Studio 11.0:
The Sybase ASE Schema Node Tree now displays Messages objects allowing visual DROP and CREATE as well as scripting the DDL of Message DROP and CREATE to a query window. "sysusermessages" contains one row for each user-defined message that can be returned by Adaptive Server.
Sybase ASE Alias Support:
Scripting database users will script the aliases for users. Scripting Server Users also script aliases for its database users.
Sybase ASE Database Segment Threshold Support:
Thresholds now appear within the Schema Node Tree underneath Database Segments.

Added a new option to change the background color of chart.The fill color within a chart can be set to the available colors.
Chart Legend Horizontal Display:
When a Chart Legend is set to display at Bottom Center within Chart Options, the Legend itself displays horizontally. Another Chart enhancement is for Legend : the chart type icon, color icon & series name is now spaced evenly.
New Shortcut - Alt + Down Arrow Editor Context Menu:
Using the Alt + Down Arrow keyboard shortcut within an editor displays the appropriate context menu for the editor.
New Option - Include Synonyms and Public Schema in Autocompletion:
Autocompletion Options now allow including Synonyms and Public Schema in the autocompletion prompt.
New Option - Insert Content in Window:
Right clicking on any file in the Files browser or Projects Browser allows you to "Insert Content in Window" so that the file contents are sent to that window. This means you can send the contents of a file to an editor or Query Analyzer without actually opening the file.
New Option to Paste Query Results to Window:
By right clicking on one or more column cells in the Query Grid Results view you now have the option of sending the selected cells to the Query Window as: Column Select, IN Values, SELECT Rows from Void, SELECT Column Body, INSERT Body, UPDATE Body. Choosing any of these generates the appropriate DDL and includes the highlighted values from the Grid Results.
Table Data Editor - Right Click Menu - Insert GUID:
Right clicking in the Table Data Editor now has a menu choice to Create a GUID in the current cell.
Grid Results Hide/Unhide Columns:
A new option to right click in a Grid Results Column Header and to choose which Table Columns to display in the Results. This makes it much easier to pare down displayed results without having to change the SQL statement and reexecute.
Grid Results Select Entire Column Menu:
A new option to right click in a Grid Results Column Header and to select the entire column. This makes it much easier to copy the content of a single column in the Grid Results.
Pivot Grid Results Copy Grid, Copy Row Field Values, Copy Column Field Values:
A new option to right click in a Pivot Grid Results to copy the whole grid for pasting into Excel, the Row Field Values or the Column Field Values.
Copy As... Line wrap options:
A new option for the Copy As... prompt for wrapping a line at a designated column. This makes it much easier to copy content and have it wrap at a desired character column.
Separated List Leading and Trailing Enclosures:
A new option for Separated Lists when Morphing to Delimited lists allows for setting Leading and Closing Enclosures. This makes it much easier to paste content from the clipboard and surround it with desired characters.
Query re-execution settings and AquaCommand scripting now supports field settings for pivot:

Schema Browser - Constraints Display Columns Objects:

Subversion 1.5 Support
Subversion (SVN) 1.5 support is built into Aqua Data Studio 7.5, and ready for use with your preexisting Subversion 1.5 installations. We've even included a Relocate feature.
File Search Tool
We’ve added a powerful new File Search Tool into Aqua Data Studio 7.5 for use with your scripts directory and version control repositories. Use it to find, sort and filter files by their content, filename and more. You can include/exclude file types in your search and even search with regular expressions.
Visual Editing Enhancements
Aqua Data Studio 7.5 expands Visual Editing support to allow the visual renaming of schema objects.
ER Modeler Enhancements
The Entity-Relationship (ER) Modeler that is as powerful as even the best standalone database diagramming tools, now allows objects within an ER Model to be renamed. Relationship connectors can be rerouted within diagrams.
DBA Tools Enhancements
The Storage Manager has been greatly enhanced for Oracle, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase and MySQL for tuning and monitoring of database storage. ADS 7.5 has enhanced views for Database Size, Table Size and Index Size. Now, DBAs can quickly visually evaluate storage issues for database tuning and performance enhancement
