  • Basic version of Artipic is now free for all users forever
  • It will never expire or stop working when you need it! Now, you can continue to use Artipic if your trial expires. In this case, the app will be downgraded to a version that doesn’t include advanced features like Layers, Refine Selection, Color Range, among others.
  • New feature: Comparison Preview
  • You can now use side-by-side comparison to check how Adjustments and Filters look before and after.
  • Enhanced color panel
  • With the new color panel you can easily select and use color for various operations, as well as keep recent colors for further use.

  • Major Enhancements:
  • 1. Gradient preview:
  • The gradient tool now works in a “live” mode so that the user can see and adjust a gradient before applying
  • it. A gradient appearance can now be adjusted by dragging it over an image and can be applied when the
  • result looks satisfactory.
  • 2. Popup sliders:
  • When the user clicks an edit box on a toolbar, a slider pops up. It helps to adjust the parameters easier just
  • by dragging the slider.
  • 3. Screen panning:
  • It is now possible to easily scroll an image any direction without interrupting an operation. The user just
  • presses and holds the space bar, scroll the image by dragging it, release the space bar and continues the
  • operation.
  • 4. Crop manual adjustment:
  • It is now possible to manually fine-tune a crop sizes by manually adjusting it via edit boxes / sliders.
  • 5. Proportional transformation:
  • A keyboard shortcut for proportional transformation is added. The user can press and hold the shift button
  • to activation this function.
  • 6. Toolbar functionality improved:
  • Sets of controls on toolbars now adjusted the way it is much easier to perform operations.
  • 7. Performance improved:
  • Performance of some operations is improved.
  • Major defect resolution
  • Blur on alpha channel issue fixed.
  • Saving layers to a format that doesn’t support layers resolved.
  • Insufficient memory issue fixed.

  • MAJOR ENHANCEMENTS:
  • Dodge and Burn brushes:
  • With these tools the user can lighten or darken specific areas of an image without destroying the texture of the image
  • To use the Dodge and Burn brushes is very easy – you just paint with them the same way you do it with a normal brush and see the results of lightening or darkening immediately
  • Refine edges:
  • The selection tool is extended with a possibility to feather and shift selection edges
  • For better seeing the result of refining it is possible to use several types of shields
  • This functionality brings better composition capabilities
  • Feather selection:
  • The selection toolbar is extended with a feather option
  • This makes it easier to smoothen selection edges
  • Advanced mask operations:
  • With Alt-click on a mask the user can switch on and off showing the mask on the main view
  • This will make it easier to see the results of painting on mask
  • Vignette color:
  • It is possible now to select any color for vignetting
  • RAW conversion presets:
  • The list of presets for converting RAW files is extended
  • Moving selected objects with keyboard It is possible now to move objects with the keyboard by 1 pixel or 10 pixels using the arrow buttons in a combination with Ctrl button
  • Extended color range selection:
  • Color range selection now allows making a selection by a particular color value
  • The user just chooses any color with a standard color window and adds it to the list of selected colors
  • PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT:
  • Vignetting now performs faster on big imagesThis also makes styles with vignetting work faster
  • Brushes now paint faster on big images
  • Hue & Saturation adjustment now works faster

New in Artipic 2.3.3 Build 6674 (Aug 6, 2015)

  • MS Windows 10 support Artipic 2.3.3 is enhanced to fully support Microsoft Windows 10.
  • Check for updates Artipic will now be automatically checking for new versions available and notify you. This setting can be changed in Preferences. It is also possible to check for available updates manually: just click “Help > Check for updates” menu item.
  • It is now easier to communicate with Artipic support on any issues. If any problem occurs, you can use “Help > Send Report” menu item to add the system information to your email to our support.
  • Major defect resolution:
  • Windows XP operation issues solved.
  • Text tool. Lowercase-d issue solved.
  • Problem with opening some TIFF files solved.
  • Problem with opening image plugins on start solved.

New in Artipic 2.3.0 Build 6528 (Jun 1, 2015)

  • Major Enhancements:
  • Last filter and last adjustment:
  • It is possible to apply again and again a filter or an adjustment that have been applied latest without opening the parameters window, but just by simply using keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+F or Ctrl+Shift+F for the last filter or last adjustment accordingly. The parameters entered for the latest filter or adjustment will be used automatically.
  • Load an image right to a layer or mask:
  • It is now possible to load images right to layers or masks with drag&drop from outside Artipic. It simplifies operating with layers and masks for creating compositions. See the full description in the User Manual (Menu “Help”, item 2.4.7).
  • RAW converter improvements:
  • RAW converter now provides a possibility to adjust the white balancing of a picture by using a “Grey Card” approach. “Grey Card” can be located by simply dragging mouse over the picture area or by clicking to a particular point on the picture. In addition, gamma presets are available now. See the full description in the User Manual (Menu “Help”, item 6.7).
  • Strength for the blurring brush:
  • It is now possible to set strength of the blurring brush. The strength parameters can be adjusted within a “1 – 100%” range with 100% meaning the maximum blurring effect.
  • New RAW formats:
  • New RAW formats supported. The camera list is extended with Mamiya, Pentax, Polaroid, Ricoh, Samsung and Sigma cameras. Along with that, the list of formats extended with MEF, MOS, PEF, SRW and X3F. See the full list in the User Manual (Menu “Help”, item 6.7).
  • Adobe Photoshop file format (.psd):
  • It is possible to read the composite image of Adobe Photoshop PSD file format.
  • Export and Share configuration:
  • It is possible to add, delete or modify new entries for Export&Share drop-down lists (both dimensions and sizes) right on the main toolbar. All the changes done can further be adjusted in Preferences.
  • Color profiles in Batch Processing:
  • It is now possible to set up color profiles in the output settings in Batch Processing.
  • Major defect resolution
  • Processing various image formats stabilized.
  • Keyboard shortcuts adjusted to fit the common practices.
  • Color space conversion is now available on opening files.
  • Watermark font configuration issue fixed.
  • Sign effect for batch processing works correctly.
