AudioSwitch Changelog

What's new in AudioSwitch 2.2.2.0

Oct 24, 2017
  • Some minor changes in Settings window UI

New in AudioSwitch 2.2.1 (Aug 31, 2017)

  • A bugfix release to remove the always-on-top mode of the main window, which made the always-open mode act not the way it was intended

New in AudioSwitch 2.2 (Aug 31, 2017)

  • Fixed the hidden device disappearance from settings - Thanks ExcuseMi!
  • Fixed a case where the device list was longer than expected and wasn't resized to be longer
  • Added a new feature - Always Open Mode! Thanks for the suggestion xMez and mintgrey :)
  • Usage: if you enable it in settings then it will allow dragging it by items list and will remember it's position. If you want to reset it's position then just disable and enable the mode again. Other behavior quirks can be found by just using it :) Enjoy!

New in AudioSwitch 2.1.8 (Aug 31, 2017)

  • Some more bugs smashed: there was a problem when deleting a hotkey didn't actually un-register it.
  • New features by ExcuseMi:
  • Playback and recording devices now have separate tabs in settings window for clearer picture
  • Each device can now be set to startup device, so when a user logs in then these devices are set as defaults
  • Each device can now also have a custom name for the list if someone had any issues changing it system-wide
  • I just smoothed stuff and made small tiny adjustments, all kudos goes to ExcuseMi :)

New in AudioSwitch 2.1.7 (Aug 31, 2017)

  • Another bug smashed: Fixed a case where no device specific advanced settings were visible when opening Audio Devices from the menu.

New in AudioSwitch 2.1.6 (Aug 31, 2017)

  • Many fixes, including
  • hidden device errors
  • possible higher DPI fix
  • new feature - close AudioSwitch selection menu after selecting device)
  • default error icon when device icon not found
  • Close button in settings window now works
  • possibly other fixes also, try it out :)

New in AudioSwitch 2.1.5.0.1 (Aug 31, 2017)

  • Setup change: do not open donation by default when doing a silent install

New in AudioSwitch 2.1.5 (Aug 31, 2017)

  • Some fixes or improvements (hopefully):
  • AudioSwitch not visible because a higher than 100% DPI is set on a display
  • Icon of a device is not found because of 32bit vs 64bit system path differences
  • Added a new option to use OS's internal OSD for volume changes and device switches. It's a matter of taste I guess but I've been using it myself for months and thought that it might appeal to someone besides myself :)
