  • Octyx has a new and modern interface, and is based on the new Windows 8.1 format.
  • A new color scheme has been introduced.
  • A new background image has been introduced.
  • A standard format has been introduced. A full screen view is not needed anymore.
  • A «new» indicator is visible in several parts of the software.
  • We have added a special section for handling passwords. All your passwords are 100% safe and can be used easily.
  • New collections are added to define your own collection in Octyx, including all possibilities and reporting.
  • The main menu can be used to click on with the mouse, with your hand on touchscreens, or with numbered keys.
  • A new method is implemented for copying Octyx from one computer to another computer.
  • Help messages can now also be visualized in all popup screens. This options can be set on or set off.
  • All images can be seen easily with a function key, and can be handled with the mouse.
  • Your own birthday is now also visible in the calendar screen.
  • We have added extra fields in the Stamps collection.
  • We improved all printed reports and we introduced several new reports.

  • Octyx has a new and modern interface, and is based on the new Windows 8 format.
  • You can now also define your own collection in Octyx including all possibilities and reporting.
  • We added 2 new fields : size and color. They are available in components, wines and stamps, as well as for your own collection.
  • Our new colored interface is very easy to use. The important information is centered on the main menu.
  • Weather information is visible at the home screen. Photos are visible at the home screen.
  • Octyx has many surprising new functions. All applications were renewed. Also, all images are new.
  • Octyx is ready for the future. We have prepared the foundation for mobile usage. Octyx is now ready for use with portable devices.

  • We developed a new User Interface, with a roll-down Menu, allowing a fast and easy handling across the program. We deliver with this 2012 version a new user experience for PC's, portables, notebooks and Windows tablets. Octyx can even be used on netbooks with screens of 1024/600 pixels

New in Octyx 2011 Build 11.101120 (Dec 1, 2010)

  • Added:
  • New User Interface for the main Avignon Concept program and the Background program.
  • A fully new functionality has been added : The Photo Manager. You can manage here automatically your photos (jpg files), stored on your local hard disk. Photos are shown by year, month, directory, person, place, event or you can show them all together. Synchronization with a chosen directory can be fully automatic. You can browse through your photos, select them or show them as a large photo. You can also choose to have an automatic presentation or full screen format.
  • Two new languages have been added : Spanish (Español) and Portuguese (Português).
  • We have introduced weather information for all your contacts and suppliers, and off course for your own location. The weather screens show the local time, actual weather and a 3-day forecast for the requested location.
  • A new option 'copy' can be found on each screen under the 'add' button : it allows for each entry to make a copy of an existing record and use it as a basis for a new entry.
  • We have added an overview of your favourite web communities which can be accessed directly from Avignon Concept.

  • The Google Maps functions have been improved. Addresses are handled more efficiently and faster.
  • The database speed has drastically been improved thanks to the latest version of the database format.
  • All reports have been improved, including various small changes and corrections.
  • The help screens do also have a modified look and feel, and are updated to incorporate the added functionalities.
  • Welcome: the new welcome screen shows all statistics plus an overview of the activities of the day which can be clicked to check further information.
  • Books: the ISBN search option in books has been improved and the entry flow has been updated.
  • Music: a new logo has been introduced.
  • Components: a new logo has been introduced.
  • Contacts: the main screen now also shows city and country information.
  • Documents: on the view screen the information field is automatically enhanced. Selecting text is automatically copied to the clipboard.
