- Bugs Squashed:
- Fixed an issue that prevented Better DS3 from being notified of newly connected controllers when the option “Close Minimizes” was chosen, and you had clicked the close button. Thanks Tobbe!
New in Better DS3 1.5.2 (Apr 14, 2017)
- New Features:
- Your master profile will now be applied to any detected controllers when Better DS3 starts. Even if they were already connected before.
- Generic compatible device support. This feature is untested since I have no generics, but it should work, if you have a generic device and are having problems, please send me an email.
- Bugs Squashed:
- Reworked the way Better DS3 detected windows shutdown. Hopefully Better DS3 will no longer prevent your computer from restarting, or shutting down. Although 1.5.1 worked fine for me on both Windows 7 x64 and Windows XP 32-bit.

- New Features:
- Added portable application compatibility mode. Simply copy your existing Better DS3.settings.xml file and profiles (located under UsersUsernameAppDataLocalBetterDS3) to the same folder as Better DS3, and Better DS3 will look for and save profiles and settings there.

- Added an option that makes the close button function as the minimize button, to exit Better DS3 right-click the tray icon
- Bugs Squashed:
- Changed the way Better DS3 registered for HID device notification updates with the operating system. This should fix issues where Better DS3 wouldn’t detect a newly attached controller when you started minimized to tray.
