  • Limit total number of Reminder emails:
  • Every profile (email address) can only receive a total of 3 reminders in their lifetime. We send two reminders per invite (once after 1 week and another after 3 weeks if they have not joined).

  • Accessibility - Chat Text - Enable users to increase and decrease font of all text components in chat threads.

  • Removing ongoing calls from Biba alert count - Biba will still increment the alert count when a user has a call - however, as soon as the user takes some action (Decline, Answer, Message, etc.) we will decrement the count.
  • If a user is suspended, only start their meetings if they have a delegate assigned (this can help when employees leave a company and they have already setup external meetings - their Biba account can be suspended and their replacement can be made a delegate to preserve security as well as business continuity).
  • Support authenticated proxy with the Biba Outlook add-in.
  • Audio enhancements - volume and echo cancellation improvements.
  • Do not show user as busy as a result of all day events on their calendar.

  • 1. Brand New Biba Branding:
  • Please welcome Gabee the Biba bee! Our new logo merges the conceptual bee and the letter B together.
  • All applications will include the brand new Biba branding
  • The Biba Admin Console will include the brand new Biba branding

  • 2. Conference Room Mode:
  • If you have a conference room computer where Biba is being used, you now can put that Biba account in "Conference Room Mode". This mode will lock the Biba account logged in on that specific computer / conference room and require a user to enter a password for any changes that need to be made to Biba.
  • When in Conference Room Mode :
  • Users will be prompted to enter a password to sign out, quit, or edit settings
  • The Biba meeting window will automatically begin each call in full screen mode
  • Optionally, video tiles can be automatically popped out to allow the user to move them anywhere on the screen.
  • 3. Faster Loading + Auto-Complete Contacts List:
  • Biba 3.3 is now adding a scalable contact list that will provide faster contact list uploads, easier search for contacts and auto-complete:
  • The list of Contacts that we show you will just be users that you have actually interacted with.
  • You will still be able to search all your contacts - "Search Contacts" will now say "Search All Contacts”.
  • Choosing contacts to add to Chat Rooms and Meetings now behaves more like the Group Message To: field (contacts are autocompleted in list form vs. using check boxes).
  • 4. Quality, Quality, Quality:
  • Biba 3.3 focused a lot on quality. Here are a few of the quality updates that were made for the Biba 3.3 release:
  • Audio enhancements - Improvements on audio echo, noise, delay, and auto-gain
  • Dial-In Audio Cues - Shortened and unified some of the audio messages we play for the dial-in users
  • Biba Add-in and Web Viewer flow - We simplified and streamlined the various flows to be consistent across our supported browsers
  • Manual check for update option - Desktop apps will now provide an "Check for Updates" option and we will check more frequently to determine if an update is available
  • Windows Logging - We previously had several log files and were rotating the logs daily, so our Customer Care team sometimes had to ask for more information. We are now grabbing Biba log files needed for most diagnostics.

  • 1. Event Mode 2.0
  • Now have the ability to add restrictions for users joining an All Hands / large call!
  • With Event Mode 2.0, Biba will automatically disable attendees from having the ability to share their webcam (but will still have ability to view your webcam) and share their screen. This will allow Biba organizers to have more control when using Event Mode.
  • The Organizer (host) of the call can choose to promote an attendee to become “presenter” so they can enable webcam and screen share. This is a great way to collaborate effectively in larger meetings. (More Menu > Add Presenters and choose from invited attendees)
  • Presenters will have a new icon associated with their name on the Roster
  • NOTE: Presenters and Attendees need to be on the 3.2 clients for Event Mode 2.0 Functionality
  • 2. Chrome Extension for Google Calendar
  • Schedule meetings directly from Google Chrome
  • Users will have similar functionality as seen on the Outlook plug-in - ability to schedule meeting quickly directly from from Google Chrome. This will allow users to schedule meetings without ever needing to move away from their browser!
  • 3. Multi-Monitor Screen Share
  • Ability for users to share multiple monitors during screen share
  • Users will now have the ability to share multiple screens while on a Biba screen share. This becomes very helpful for the users who have 2+ screens in their workspace. Biba will allow you to use your monitor space more effectively during the screen share sessions whether internally or externally with customers.
  • User can also choose what screen to share if multiple screens are connected
  • 4. Additional H.323 Compatibility
  • With Cisco, Tandberg, Polycom, and Lifesize conference room video systems already compatible with Biba, Biba is now adding adding H.323 support for Vidyo Conference Room Systems.
  • Users will now have the ability to use their Vidyo conference room hardware to connect directly with Biba and place calls quickly!

  • H.323 Compatibility - Beta Testing Program:
  • Biba will now be compatibile with your in-room video hardware from Cisco, Tandberg, Polycom or Lifesize (Video coming soon).
  • Users will be able to use their video conference hardware and dial intro the Biba H.323 Service and enter the meeting ID - Similar to how users join when dialing into a call.

  • Personalized Meeting Link:
  • Biba will now allow users to choose a biba.me name (i.e. biba.me/annie123) as an alias to join meetings.
  • Users can claim or change their link at any time.
  • If a vanity url is not created, biba.com/join/0123456789 (ie, your regular pin) will continue to work.
  • Feature is compatible with all clients.
  • Full HD Video :
  • Biba will now scale to 720p HD in 2 person meeting / calls, up from the previous max of 640x480.
