- The "Congratulations" dialog settings have changed.
- Select your own background picture (formats bmp, gif, jpeg, png) - tiled or stretched
- Fanfare sound extracted to an external .wav file.
- Birthday Default E-mail setting removed.
- Changed the reminder dialog layout. All birthdays are displayed in the same window.
- Both passed and future. Microsoft® Outlook® has yet again caught the designer's attention.
- HTML export removed.
- Introduced XML support. Saves character set UTF-8. Reads UTF-8, Unicode/UTF-16 and more.

- Removed previously added character set options.
- Added options to sort printout/report on Name or Birthday column.
- Added Web Update feature.
- A menu item makes it possible to check if the running version is the latest.
- If not, you will be asked to download the new version from the Internet.
- Not that usable right now, since this is the latest version... ;)
- Added zodiac symbols to the "Properties" dialog.
- Improved support for Windows® XP themes.
- A huge number of minor tweaks.
- Replaced some of the pictures in the application.
