New in Bitext2tmx 1.0 Milestone 0 Build 080218 (Nov 24, 2011)
- Main differences:
- can read in bitext from TMX saved by B2T
- users can continue working on an alignment at another time
- by using the TMX saved out by B2T from a previous session
- does not use config.txt anymore, disabled until improved version in M1+ provided
- some integration with Mac OS X now provided
- provides a Java LnF (LiquidLnF) on Linux and Windows
- this looks better than the default LnF
- in future more configurable LnF will be provided
- OS X still uses its default
- localizations now use Java resource bundles, via properties files
- localizations are in a top level directory for easy additions or updates
- localizations are in the /localizations directory of the installation
- user can edit the properties files (in an editor or use OmegaT+ or
- other application to create new localizations)
- preliminary French localization provided
- Note: some of these changes may be temporary There are many more improvements
- to be made for future versions. While the project encourages filing of
- bug reports and feature requests, please note that very little will be
- done to improve the M0 version because version M1 is already in progress
- and will provide substantial improvements over older version. Nonetheless,
- any serious bug (e.g. program unable to run at all) will be looked into.
- Thank you for your understanding.
