New in BizHawk 2.9 (Apr 8, 2023)

- Lots of updates and fixes to existing cores and to EmuHawk.
New in BizHawk 2.9 RC 3 (Mar 21, 2023)
- Third candidate build for the upcoming 2.9 release. (changes from RC2)
- Please help us check for regressions, especially in TAStudio and the rest of the TASing workflow, and in Lua. Remember: if it's not reported then it won't be fixed!
- 2.9 will see Ares64 graduate from experimental, including Ares64's N64DD emulation, the merge of the MAME experiment, new cores for Atari Jaguar/Jaguar CD and TIC-80, a subframe-capable BSNES, and also Satellaview emulation with BSNES.
- It will also replace the two old Lua engines with a new one using KeraLua, meaning the features of Lua 5.2 through 5.4 such as integers will be available. It will be the first version with RetroAchievements integration.
New in BizHawk 2.9 RC 1 (Dec 7, 2022)

New in BizHawk 2.8 (Feb 20, 2022)
- This release sees BSNESv115+ and MSXHawk graduate from experimental, and the addition of 5(!) new cores emulating GB/C, N64, PSX, and TI-83.
New in BizHawk 2.8 RC 1 (Jan 26, 2022)
- 2.8 will see MSXHawk graduate from experimental. It may also introduce one or more experimental cores—these are not part of this RC.
