Jul 3, 2018- Primary/Secondary inputs! PT cores can now serve as secondary input for backup / voiceover insertion / EAS (emergency alert) purposes.
- PT core: 12dB stream attenuation option added (useful when using the streaming encoder as the STL with the declipper at the studio end)
- “Standby or Primary” mode for the secondary stream receiver:
- Gives the secondary stream receiver, when in standby mode, higher priority than the main input.
- Useful in conjuction with the “Give up if slow” primary stream receiver option.
- Also useful when the main input is a local backup player
- FLAC Reduced mode (700kbps) is now 24-bit
- FLAC bit-rate management added — bit rate now longer drops on silence or mono tracks. Much more reliable for streaming.
- Metadata file reader now ignores UTF-8 BOM
- Stream Receiver status code and silence HTTP readable parameters added
- Stream Receiver “Give up if slow” option added, controllable through HTTP server
- Stream Receiver silence sense threshold adjustable through HTTP server
- HD Core: Mono Mix Bass option added. Improves comfort when listening in headphones.
- VST plug-in compatibility improved
- Utility Launch added (mgmt package) – can run commands on startup/shutdown
