New in Byte Converter 1.4 (Feb 27, 2015)

  • New Features:
  • Ability to compute file and folder sizes and convert them to other units
  • Files/Folders can be chosen by browsing for them
  • OR by simply dragging and dropping them onto the application window
  • The results can now be copied to the clipboard individually or they can be saved to a text file for later use
  • New buttons have been added to the UI for above purposes
  • Issues:
  • Fixed issue #4 (printing is not supported as that can be easily done by the user through a saved text file)
  • Fixed issue #2
  • Opened issue #5 - This release is single threaded that causes the application to be unresponsive for a short time if the file size is too large or the number of files/sub-directories are very high. Hence multi-thread support is required.

  • Fixed the redundant display of the label "Exbi/Exa Bytes" in the results section.
