What's new in CAD6 Industry 2011.0.2.22
Mar 3, 2011
- The “3D” Plug-In has been revised and extended by new commands and standard parts.
- Using 11 new standard parts, you can easily create parametrical profiles and regular shapes.
- The new Measure submenu features 9 new commands that can be used to measure the 3D parts.
- The Orbit function has been reworked and now works much more intuitively.
- 3D Markings can now also be placed as perpendicular points onto edges and surfaces.
- When creating multiple extrusions, rotations, and paths, their position relative to each other is retained to allow easy transition from a 2D drawing to a 3D model.
- The CAM Part in CAD6 Industry and the universal postprocessor have been revised. The most important new features are:
- Using postprocessor chains, you can call multiple postprocessors subsequently with the same drawing data. The resulting files can either be stored separately or automatically be concatenated.
- The use of the Sort Objects Manually command has been improved.
- New variables allow accessing axes movements, incremental coordinates, and object properties during export.
- Circles and circular arcs can optionally be resolved into quadrants.
- The import and export filters for DXF and DWG have been revised. They work with files up to version 2011.
- Creating Mappings based on outlines (both in Model Space and Page) did often not work.
- Now you can already determine the layer visibility of the mapping to be created while creating Mappings (not only afterwards).
- The default layer for Bitmaps was ignored.
- The “Lettering” plug-in did not always set the page assignment of its objects correctly, resulting in incorrect visibility of partial elements.
- Moving and scaling of the file selection dialog now works much more smoothly and reliably.
- We now use a new generation of the Netviewer client which features higher security and better encryption.
