  • Fixed a typo:
  • Main Menu > Insert a CSV File into Database
  • Main Menu > Import a CSV File into Database
  • Added an Installation Error message that warns the user if the Installation steps in http://csvloader.sourceforge.net haven't been performed.
  • Added an Installation Error message that suggests user to reload CSVLDR_TBL_DEPS if any table is not found.

  • Now also works with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Column Configuration can now only be done through COLUMN LIST. Schema and Table fields have been removed.
  • Instructions are now available only online through http://csvloader.sourceforge.net.

New in CSV Loader 1.4 (Jun 9, 2010)

  • Now formats Dates as DD-MON-RRRR or MM/DD/RRRR instead of DD-MON-YY or MM/DD/YY. This is to prevent year 89 from being interpreted as 2089.

New in CSV Loader 1.3 (Jun 9, 2010)

  • Improved the speed of "Create SQL Insert" and "Create SQL Merge".
  • Plan now includes Data Comparison that is able to display the existing data in Banner side by side with the new data in the Excel CSV file.
  • Plan can now be viewed before it is saved as a .pln file.
  • Now is compatible with Banner PAYROLL schema. xuvdeps.sql needs to be recompiled. YURLEV tables also need to be truncated and repopulated using the scripts in README.doc in order to have PAYROLL schema added into CSV Loader.

  • Renamed Column Info section to Column Config.
  • Removed CSVPanelImage Save and Reset functionalities because they are redundant to 'Save Configuration into File'.
  • Added a Schema Text Field input.
  • Included YUKSHRD.SQL and YUKSHR1.SQL into "CSV Loader 1.2 Windows.zip" and CSV_Loader_1.2_Linux.tar.gz.
  • Do not use ocrs12.jar anymore.

New in CSV Loader 1.1 (Jun 9, 2010)

  • In 1.0, the state of check box: 'Do not load this column' was not saved into the configuration file. It is now saved in version 1.1. As result, the 1.0 .cfg (configuration) files won't work anymore with 1.1. To make them compatible, add to the beginning of each column configuration or each line in the .cfg file:
