  • Chat Anywhere now automatically monitors these setting files:
  • 1) Fip.cfg
  • 2) Foul.txt
  • 3) RoomName.pwd
  • 4) . oomRoomName.ini
  • 5) .Rootimagesemotiondescription.txt'
  • After you modify and save a setting file, it will be reloaded by Chat Anywhere within 1 or 2 seconds. So now you can change almost all settings without stopping the chat service.
  • Now you can decide how many sentences will be displaied on the chat screen to the new comer of your chat room by setting the parameter 'HistorySentence'.
  • Now you can set the width of the name field and the the message field by setting parameter 'NameFieldWidth' and 'MessageFieldWidth'.

  • Now you can use your own html file to instead of the login page.
  • Emotion selector added. Now user can paste emotion pictures on the chat screen. You can customize the emotions.
  • Now you can customize the sound for "Sound Alert" function. You can use MP3 file (.mp3), midi file (*.mid), wave file (*.wav).
  • New function "Ban name list" added. The "ban name" means a name which user can not use it to log into your chat room.
  • New function "User limitation" added. Sometimes you do not want too much person inside your chat room. So you need to set a limitation.
  • Now you can display a note on the chat screen.
  • Unlike previous versions, there is no need to specify an "Administrator" account to start the NT service.
  • Previous versions allow user log into the chat room with a " " (space character) name. Now this bug has already been fixed.
  • Previous versions have another bug: Sometimes when a user logs into the chat room by clicking on the ENTER button more than once, then the person is entered into the room twice and removed twice. Now this bug has already been fixed.
  • By adding a key "ExitToURL" to the room setting file, you can redirect users to a URL when they exit your chat room.
  • Redesigned the CSS style file - "chat.css". By editing the file "chat.css", you can change the font, font size, font color, and font style for almost all elements on the chat screen.
  • Rewrote the help file. It is more clear and more detailed than before. Please read the help file to learn how to use these new functions.
