- Made the program much more compact.
- Added status messages. There are currently five statuses: Online, Away, Do Not Disturb, Invisible, and Offline.
- Disabled resizing by default.

- Added the ability to choose your own background colors, so now you are not restricted to the default ones included with the program.

- Changes:
- The "received messages" box is now read-only.
- You can now resize the program (can be disabled)
- Now shows in System Tray (can be disabled)
- 6 new colors: Coral, Pink, Light Pink, Silver, Light Blue, and Maroon.
- New option: Panic mode (censors all chat, in case you think somebody is looking at your conversation)
- New option: Show in system tray, toggle whether or not it is shown in the system tray.
- New option: Disable chatting - If you need to go away from the computer for a minute but don't want to make a passcode, you can enable this to disable the chat box.
- New option: Disable resizing - If you like the old style (that is, no resizing at all) you can enable this.
- New option: Lock Program - Lets you enter a passcode and lock the program, in case you need to go away for an extended time and don't want anyone to see your conversation. To enable this, go to Chatterbox > Lock Program, then enter a passcode.
- There is now a Tutorials button which brings you to the tutorials part of the website.
