- New Features:
- Captured items are now automatically removed from ClipBeast after a certain period of time. Default is 48 hours, but the user can change this using a control in the lower toolbar.
- A proper Windows HTML Help file is now included, it can be opened with the 'Help' button in the upper toolbar.
- Captured text items are now individually highlighted (with a light grey shade) when hovered with the mouse cursor.
- Captured text items can now be right-clicked to put them back on the Windows clipboard. Items get a light green background to confirm that they were copied to the clipboard.
- ClipBeast can be installed as a portable application (e.g. on a USB stick).
- Improvements:
- The import command has been removed to keep ClipBeast as simple as possible. (If you have some text to import, just copy it to the clipboard...)
- Newly captured items now appear on top.
- ClipBeast is now packaged with JGsoft's DeployMaster, for easier installation. The installer now has a user selectable option that allows for portable installations.
- Bug Fixes:
- The CTRL-A keyboard shortcut (Select All) works again.

- New Features:
- ClipBeast now automatically saves and restores across program runs: text content, font size, "stay on top" status, and window size and position.
- Improvements:
- The load and save commands have been renamed to import and export. This is more consistent with the automatic saving of the content.
- Bug Fixes:
- ClipBeast no longer stops getting clipboard content after the import or export commands have been used.

New in ClipBeast 0.3.2 Beta (Feb 22, 2010)
- Improvements:
- ClipBeast now accepts Unicode text, as far as the Courier font (or on Windows Vista and Windows 7: the Consolas font) is able to display the characters. In future versions of ClipBeast, you will be able to select your own fonts.
- Clipboard capturing is now significantly faster. On average, it should now take only 250 milliseconds before new text items on the clipboard are displayed in ClipBeast.
- Bug Fixes:
- ClipBeast now no longer tries to import non-textual items from the ClipBoard.

- New Features:
- A bottom toolbar was added for interface related functions. (Content manipulation functionality will go to top menu bar.)
- The text font can be made smaller or larger or set to default with three unobtrusive buttons in the bottom toolbar. Font size can vary between 6px and 36px.
- Improvements:
- New (experimental) interface colors. The application icon hasn't been adapted yet.
- The text area now has a very thin grey border when the application has keyboard focus.
- The application is getting tooltips, starting with the 3 new font size buttons. The tooltips are deliberately made relatively slow (700 ms) to avoid annoyance.
- When ClipBeast is started on Windows Vista or Windows 7, the text font is set to 'Consolas' instead of 'Courier'.

- Improvement: the window now has an appropriate minimum size.
