- Code optimization. Minor bugs fixes for display
New in Cool Sitemapper 2.4.0 (Jan 4, 2013)
- Possibility of creating a sitemap for a starting URL in a directory. For example, it is now possible to scan http://www.sites.com/mysite. Of course this means that the site takes its root in the directory /mysite and the files in the directory http://www.sites.com will not be visible.
- Internal links like #mylink are not taken into account but the pages are always (mypage.html#hello becomes mypage.html)
- URLs with spaces are scanned and inserted into the sitemap if the scan is successful. However, a message will tell you now the number of files with a space in their URL. Remember that Google and most search engines will replace spaces with " " or "+". This practice is definitely to exclude and Cool Sitemapper strongly urge you to do it.
