  • Multi-Session support for remote access:
  • This feature is now available for all CrossLoop paid accounts (Pro and Remote Access). You can now launch multiple viewers from the "My Computers" and "Customers" tabs of the CrossLoop website. Each of the viewer sessions is identified by the name of the remote computer. Clicking on the Viewer icon in the tray allows the selection of a specific remote computer. Right clicking on the Viewer icon in the tray can be used to operate on all of the Viewer windows: Cascade, Show Windows Stacked, Show Windows Side by Side, Minimize Group and Close Group.
  • Bug Fixes:
  • The client no longer restores minimized Viewers after 20 seconds, Viewer window will remain minimized
  • Caps lock is turn OFF on both the Share and Access computers when the "Connect" button is hit
  • Improved connection speed for Instant Share and Remote Access
  • Windows XP support for non-admin users
  • Added confirmation messages to the Logout and Quit requests
  • Additional "Remote Connection Info..."
  • Added "Viewer Connection Options" to allow full Viewer control of remote sessions

New in CrossLoop 2.60 (Jan 12, 2010)

  • We are pleased to bring you CrossLoop V2.60 which has new features for CrossLoop users, including Windows 7 support and the ability to run CrossLoop as a non-Administrator (Standard User).
  • Key Features of CrossLoop V2.60:
  • Windows 7: This new version of CrossLoop is fully compatible with Windows 7.
  • Non-Administrator (Standard User) Install
  • CrossLoop can now be installed on Vista and Windows 7 without administrator privileges.
  • Remote Connection Information
  • Once a screen sharing session begins, the client "Remote Connection Info..." menu can be selected to display information about the remote client. This is particularly important for CrossLoop Helpers (Access Computer) because it shows the state of the remote client User Access Control (UAC).

New in CrossLoop 2.51 (Jan 12, 2010)

  • Share My Screen allows the customer to directly screen share by clicking the “Share My Screen” button in the chat window itself. No more asking the customer to download the client from CrossLoop’s homepage.
  • Single Click Connect to Recent Helper: The customer will be able to view a list of recently contacted helpers in their client and contact you by simply clicking on your name.
  • Reconnect After Reboot: This permits the client to directly reconnect after reboot. All you have to do is to click the “Reconnect After Reboot” option in the client. Do not forget to download the latest version to have access to all these features.

New in CrossLoop 2.44 (Jan 12, 2010)

  • Chat for Marketplace Helpers As a CrossLoop marketplace Helper, you can now initiate a chat with a customer during a screen sharing session. You can also bill them for services rendered so you can get paid immediately. CrossLoop charges a discounted fee for these transactions.
  • Bug Fixes Several bug fixes were made including improvements in the generation of the client Access Codes.

New in CrossLoop 2.43 (Jan 12, 2010)

  • Improved Availability Function Simply clicking on the green "available button" toggles your availability on (green button) and off (grey button) to indicate you are available to provide immediate responses to chat on the CrossLoop Marketplace.
  • Improved Connection Handling Re-connecting after a session has been completed is improved as well as the handling of UAC events where a connection is broken between the Share and Access computers.
  • Improved Updates The CrossLoop client is able to quickly perform updates without requiring the user to go to the CrossLoop website and download/install new software.
  • Bug Fixes Several bug fixes were made, including missing post rolls for customer feedback/ratings and failures to re-connect clients that were engaged in relay sessions.

New in CrossLoop 2.40 (Jan 12, 2010)

  • New User Startup: The CrossLoop client now displays a dialog at startup with the ability to Create Account. The user may also choose to either login or skip.
  • Handling /VERYSILENT Installs: In the event that the CrossLoop client is installed with the Inno Setup /VERYSILENT switch, the user will be prompted to accept the End User License Agreement.
  • Share Tab Default: The CrossLoop client now defaults to the Share Tab after the initial installation. This will make it easier for Helpers to instruct Customers when they launch CrossLoop to share their screen.
  • Helper Thumbnail Displayed on Share Dialog: The CrossLoop client will now display the Helper thumbnail when the client has connected with the Share tab.
  • Bug Fix: Logged in Helper Computer Resuming from Sleep Mode A bug has been fixed in the CrossLoop client which now correctly restores the Helpers presence when a computer is resumed after sleeping.
  • Bug Fix: Client Running but not in the Tray A bug has been fixed in the CrossLoop client where it was possible to have the CrossLoop client running, but not visible in the tray. This would occur if a Helper logged out of CrossLoop when in the run at startup mode.
