- Significantly improved the module detecting applications locking files on mounted vault. To prevent the possibility of damaging opened files, CryptoExpert displays this window.
- Now the module detects all locking applications as well as locked files on Windows XP/Vista/Win7/Win8.
New in CryptoExpert Lite 8.24 (Apr 12, 2013)
- In this version we significally improved the vault creation wizard. We added the vault size slider and some other parts.
- Additionally we fixed several bugs in the application. It crashed when clicking the Help button. Fixed.
- Fixed strange behaviour of the popup menu in the breadcrumb control.

- Now it is possible to rename files and folders in files pane(s) of CryptoExpert directly. I.e. to rename file/folder it is just needed to click the file, wait ~1-2 second and now it will be possible to rename file (like in Windows Explorer).

- CryptoExpert has two file panes - left and right. Each pane can display folder of hard drive or other location. And files/folders can be copied/moved between file panes.
- Now, when user double-clicks on the title of file pane, it displays popup menu with bookmarks - favorite locations on hard drives. It is possible to add new folders to this menu, manage bookmarks or change current path of the files pane quickly.

- Our customers reported about strange bug: when fixed drive letter was assigned for drive image file (in context menu/Drive Image File Properties...), it was not used by CryptoExpert and next available free drive letter was used everytime.

- In some situations, for example when the tray notification area is overloaded by programs, not all of them could be loaded on Windows start, because most of these programs were designed without knowledge to wait for existance of the Windows Explorer's tray notification area. In this case these programs shown error message like "Cannot create tray icons" and then terminated.
- CryptoExpert now, in this situations, always waits when the tray is created and then places own icon to it.
New in CryptoExpert Lite 7.9.1 (Mar 13, 2009)
- In previous versions container's icons (gray and gold keys) were not visible in main CryptoExpert main program and in 32 bit applications on Vista 64 bit. Now icons are visible.
- Also shell context menu items (mount image, unmount image) were not visible in 32 bit applications on Vista 64 bit (for example in Total Commander program). Now shell context menu items also works.
New in CryptoExpert Lite 7.9.0 (Feb 8, 2009)
- In this version we've added ability to check for bad passwords during container creation. To activate this feature go to menu/options/miscellaneous and check box "Create Container Wizard: check for the presence of password in a dictionary of common words". For example, when you create new container and want to use "weak" password like "123", or "john", CryptoExpert will show warning message. CryptoExpert has own dictionary of 50,000 common words.
- It is recommended to activate this feature.
- Also, this version of CryptoExpert shows a label of current disk in the status area (in file browser).
New in CryptoExpert Lite 7.8.8 (Jan 20, 2009)
- In this version we fixed strange bug. Program interface was locked when trying to create new container file in read-only folder (for example: root folder on hard drive on Vista 32/64 system). Now, in this situation, CryptoExpert shows error message and this operation can be cancelled (Cancel button is not disabled).
