  • Added column templates for preparing the summary table report listing computers vulnerable to (and protected from) the Wanna Cry virus family. The column templates allow you to search for the Windows version specific security updates installed on your computers.
  • Added the Windows version filter templates for the summary table report. Using these filters you can prepare reports for one specific Windows version. These filters will be useful when used together with the columns templates described above.
  • Added ability to manually add stored equipment to warehouses. You can now move computers and equipment from warehouses and back.

  • Returned ability to fill in custom fields in computer cards. You can create a dedicated catalogue with all possible values and to specify it for each custom field. You can create, fill in, and edit catalogues using the "Catalogues" toolbar menu.

  • Added ability to perform the computer maintenance history (service operations, writing off, distribution). You can specify the operation type, date, responsible person, and linked documents.
  • Improved the computer card window. It contains the summary information on computers and includes the change log, found problems, data collection settings, etc.
  • Added ability to maintain and edit catalogues with computer parts, peripherals, and users. You can import the user data from Active Directory as well. The computer part names will be normalized automatically removing unnecessary words, symbols, and suffixes.
  • If you are updating an older version of the program, the catalogues will be created and filled automatically on the first run. Computer cards will be filled too.
  • You can now add unlimited number of devices to the computer card. There is no need to add custom fields in the program settings anymore.
  • Starting from this v13.2, the program stores the computer hardware information and catalogues in the new internal SQLite database.

  • Improved the data collecting mechanism. Now the information is gathered by a dedicated program (DataCollector.exe). It can be started on the system startup and collect data in the background mode hiding in the system tray. The process performs the scheduled computer scans, periodically imports data files from clients, and runs current scanning tasks when the main program is running. This mechanism helps improving the program's reliability and stability providing automatic data grabbing in the background mode. Now you do not need to keep the main program running in order to perform the continuous inventory data monitoring and sending out the alert notifications.
  • Improved the web UI. Its functions are now performed by a background service application (InventoryWebServer.exe). Now you do not need to keep the main program running in order to provide access to the inventory database via the program's web interface.
  • Added ability to generate PDF, DOC, and HTML reports in the web UI.

  • Added counting copies of software (in the License Manager) detected by the registry scanning. When a program is copied to a computer (but not installed), it is not displayed in the list of installed software on this computer. You can configure registry keys to be scanned (see the "License Information" section in the program setings) and all the found programs will be considered as installed in the License manager. However, a deleted program can leave its data in the registry. Such program can be detected and counted as installed. Be careful with this function.

  • Added advanced IP to DNS address resolving. You can now resolve a computer's network address only, the computer name only, or the address and the name both.
  • Improved searching for computers by IP addresses. Automatic IP-to-name resolving is disabled. After a scanning, you can select which column to resolve: network addresses or/and computer names. This will give you more flexibility with organizing and maintaining computer lists.
