• Browser-like navigation forwards and backwards through last campaign entries
• Grid size and grid color are configurable
• Yes/No check for clear/fill Fog of War to avoid embarrassing map-nudity in combat

• Automatic saving of the bestiary and spellbook upon close of the dialog

New in DM Helper 2.4 (Apr 9, 2022)

• Big Changes:
• Our Amazing new HW-accelerated Player Window rendering... lots more to come here! If you had any performance issues while publishing with previous versions, that should be a thing of the past now.
• A brand new What's New Dialog!
• All-new (and still optional) Initiative Tracker on the Player Window. Somewhat condensed and two different visualization options
• Quick shortcut campaign notes, just hit Ctrl+Alt+N and enter a note, you can open the notes to view/edit them on the Campaign tab
• Smaller, really cool changes:
• Moving characters, effects and objects from the Player's Window. Your players want to move their fireball around? Their spaceship? No problem!
• Added proper transparency support for objects and spell effects
• Add map markers with flexible icons
• Distance moved for each combatant is tracked during their turn
• Smooth multi-selection of combatants in battle
• Distance measurement added to the map view as well as combat
• Changing a map in combat leaves combatants where they are. This is really useful if the terrain changes dramatically mid-battle.
• Rebooted "Add Monster" dialog, with even more customization options
• Fixed and enhanced the Export & Import functionality, which unfortunately really didn't work right in v2.3
• A few other bug-fixes and community-requested changes that I've lost track of

New in DM Helper 2.3 (Sep 24, 2021)

• 1. A more generic campaign tree "Entry" replaces "Text Entry" and "Scrolling Text"
• An "Entry" can have no background, a background image or a background video
• An "Entry" can include text or no text, which can be static or animated (scrolling)
• Got rid of the "Publish Text" tool because it sucked
• Integrated the "Translate Text" tool into the "Entry" and tried to make it non-suck
• Embedded 3 fonts: Dwarvish (Davek), Elvish (Rellanic) and Draconic (Iokharic)
• Automatic text links in text: put [[ and ]] around anything in a text entry to turn into a local link to other entries
• Paste as plain/rich text
• 2. Major Map upgrade
• Mouse controls in maps
• Map markers can be added with a pin and links to campaign entries
• Can add a Party icon directly onto maps
• Map colorization: add standard color filters like greyscale or sepia, adjust colors or overlay something
• Map distance measure expanded to include paths (not just lines), with custom color, dashes and line width: do-it-yourself Indiana Jones maps!
• 3. Combat upgrade
• Battle maps: create a blank colored map for spontaneous battles
• Battle maps: map selection is finally structured so that you can find the map you need much faster
• Map grids: now supports square and hex grids in both normal and isometic formats
• Tokens: tracking of move since a character's last turn
• Menus cleaned up (now with Map, View & Combat)
