- Program now supports drives that are removed and come back at a later time. Even non-media style drives like optical drives, mac-formatted volumes are remembered for when they return.
- Drives that change letter are now handled and the correct icon will follow the drive.
- Program should now handle flash drives with and without a card in them. If a card is in it then it can have its own icon, however if there is no card in a default icon can be set.
- Any type drive that cannot be written to for whatever reason, now has its icon handled by the program so they will always show the proper icon. If a disk based one becomes available at any stage it will have precedence over the program controlled one.

- of the drive. This allows the icon to work even when the drive is put in another computer, and or when this program is not running. It also allows the icon to still work when the drive letter changes.
