- In the audio EKD uses now the following codecs: WAV. MP3, MP2, OGG, FLAC, WMA, M4A, AC3, AAC
- This new version is an important version because EKD for windows is now a portable software.All of the EKD dependencies are contained in the portable version, so in the executable). All this means that the installation of EKD has been considerably simplified
New in EKD 2.1.0 (Aug 18, 2011)
- In this new version 2.1.0 transcoding video WebM was added. This is an important feature in EKD because the WebM has a good future.
New in EKD 2.0.4 (Oct 6, 2010)
- This version of EKD works great with Windows XP, Windows Vista and
- Windows Seven.
New in EKD 1.4-1 (Aug 12, 2008)
- A very big update has been made:
- The application uses now the graphic library PyQt4 (EKD wins in ergonomics while remaining very easy to use).
- Two new persons joined the project (it is now about a small team of development).
- New features appeared (and those who already existed were improved).
- The project has a new web site (and forum).
