  • The new EarMaster Jazz course includes hundreds of exercises for sight-singing and ear training (melodic dictation and melody sing-back). The lessons cover such topics as «Blues Scales and Blues Songs», «1920's American Swing Hits», «Ballads and Blues in Minor», «Novelty Songs and Rhythms», «Irish Ballads & Folk Music», «Fun with Irving Berlin», as well as a variety of Jazz and Blues all-time classics such as “After You've Gone”, “St. James Infirmary”, “Mandy”, “The Sheik of Arabia”, “At the Devil's Ball”, “Missouri Waltz” and many more.

  • Improved melodies for Melodic dictation! The algorithm that creates melodies has been improved so melodies sound better. Melodies can now be made from custom scales (defined in the scale section). Eighth notes and sixteenth notes rhythm values are now possible and they can be played with swing feeling
  • Solfege tone naming! Set default tone naming to standard Anglo-Saxon (C, D, E, etc) or solfege (Do, Re, Mi, etc.)
  • Transposing instruments! Use EarMaster with a transposing instrument. You can set the relation between transcribed and sounding tones
  • Evaluate note length! In the rhythm clapping exercises you can have EarMaster evaluate the length of the notes you clap
  • Free-style rhythm clapping! In rhythm imitation and rhythm reading exercises, you can now clap without a metronome - starting any time after the rhythm is played
  • Improved user statistics
  • EarMaster School only) Teachers have access to more detailed student statistics. The statistics window is now integrated with the user list for an easy overview of students’ progress
  • "Family support!" All family members can use EarMaster Pro on the same computer. Users are identified by their Windows username. Note: Network sharing is still possible only with EarMaster School
