Elgato Wave Link Changelog

What's new in Elgato Wave Link 1.8.2.730

Sep 11, 2023
  • Real-time level meters with Stream Deck:
  • With Stream Deck, information should be available at your fingertips. With Wave Link 1.8.2 and the Wave Link plugin, your Stream Deck + will display level meters for inputs and outputs for each selected channel. That means you can minimize Wave Link to free up valuable screen real estate and still keep an eye on your audio levels.
  • Marketplace Download Manager:
  • Wouldn't it be great to know which audio effects you just installed from Marketplace? We thought so, too, so we added a new download manager that displays the progress and history of VST audio effects you’ve installed.
  • Performance improvements and bug fixes:
  • NVIDIA released GeForce driver 536.99, which resolves the issue of popping and cracking audio when using the NVIDIA Noise Removal by Elgato VST audio effect. Learn more.
  • Resolved an issue where Wave XLR settings would reset when restarting Windows.
  • Enhanced the look and feel of the Marketplace page after initiating an audio effect download.
  • Your Marketplace account will stay logged in when updating Wave Link.

  • Collapsible Microphone settings:
  • The settings of your Wave device can now be collapsed.

  • Auto-scaling on
  • Buffer Size:
  • You can now adjust the input and output buffer sizes of Wave Link. Setting a larger buffer size can help when a channel input has crackling audio.
  • Should you try a reduced buffer size and audio starts to have crackling, increase the buffer size.
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements:
  • Fixed an issue where the control panel of a VST could not be opened after it was renamed and moved.
  • When installing Wave Link, the installer will not continue until the Wave device is unplugged. This is necessary to prevent installation issues.
  • Fixed an issue where firmware updates would get stuck at 10%.
