  • Available for Episode 7.1 and higher, the Episode Exporter for Adobe® Premiere Pro CC allows you to select a clip, timeline, or portion of a timeline and submit the selected content to an Episode system or cluster for encoding and deployment.
  • Now faster and better with added format support*
  • Episode 7 is faster and better than ever before. We have added encoding/transcoding support for JPEG2000, DNxHD, DNxHR, and DVCPro HD. Using 64-bit technology, Episode speeds up your encoding jobs so you are done even faster!
  • *64-bit support will be in all three license levels. Support for DNxHR, DNxHD and JPEG2000 will be limited to Pro and Engine only. DVCPro HD will be in all license levels.
  • 4K video support
  • Now available with full built-in support for 4K video, including presets.
  • Named storage now available in the Episode UI
  • Previous versions of Episode required you to use Episode’s Command Line Interface to “name the storage device.” Now, do that from directly within the Episode User Interface making it easy for anyone to add a named storage system to Episode 7.
  • Manage your audio with the new Audio Channel Configurator
  • The new Audio Channel Configurator feature gives you the flexibility to map channels of audio either to standard input/output formats or customized the audio channels for your encode…all combined into one area.

  • x264 codec option: Episode’s native implementation of the x264 codec allows access to this high quality h.264 codec allowing encoding to all formats in Episode where h.264 is supported. X264 is widely accepted as one of the best h.264 implementations available.
  • Autodesk Wiretap integration: Simply creating a new Autodesk bookmark in the Episode media browser enables browsing, monitoring, and encoding directly from Autodesk file systems.
  • Fixes and Improvements:
  • Improved manual profile and level controls in the MPEG2 encoder.
  • Fixed an issue with the audio channel mapper that would cause the selected audio mappings to be reversed.
  • Fixed an issue the would prevent the setting of AAC and MPEG audio to values about 256kb and 384kb respectively.
  • DVD PAL encode preset now has proper profile and level set.

  • Fixed an issue that would cause an unusual error message concerning language localization to appear on operating systems set to certain non-English languages.
  • Made several encoding improvements to better support the Grass Valley K2 Media Server.
  • When using the MainConcept h.264 encoder, the proper video format flag (NTSC, PAL) will be set in the video stream.
  • The Episode XML-RPC server is now running by default.
