Exact Change Changelog

What's new in Exact Change 6.3.0

Sep 3, 2023
  • The series Editor now automatically centers vertically on the selected series, reducing the need to scroll as you drill down through various series
  • Transit tokens were often minted from whatever metal was available, particularly in the time around World War II. To accommodate the new transit token database, a bunch of new metallic compositions were added to the program: White metal/Brass, Celluloid, Magnesium, Vulcanite, Copper/White metal, Bronze/Zinc, Brass/White metal, Bronze/Brass, White metal/Zinc, White metal/Bronze, White metal/Steel, Gun Metal, Gun Metal/Zinc, Gun Metal/White Metal, Gun Metal/Copper, White metal/Lead, Gun Metal/Bronze, Zinc/White metal, Zinc/Brass, Zinc/Bronze, Copper/Lead, Bronze/White Metal, Stainless Steel
  • Dates on the price list can now be designated as Circa dates. This is for coins or tokens that don't indicate a date, but for which the approximate date of minting has been established. Since they're approximations, Circa dates show in some places, like the date ranges on the "Series" page, but they don't, for example, show up in the "Year/Mint/Variety" box on the "Coins" page. The program takes care of all of that, so all you really need to know is that you may see dates like "Circa 1942" and that indicates that the item came from that approximate timeframe
  • The "Series" page can now display notes or comments. For example, where items were removed from a catalog numbering system the missing catalog numbers may be noted
  • A new grade scale was added to support NGC's 10 point grade scale
  • The "Find A Catalog Number" feature has been enhanced to work faster while also sorting catalog numbers into a natural sort order. If you have not used the "Fine A Catalog Number" function, you can access it by clicking on "Find" in the program's "Tools" menu. It's a great way to locate a series by selecting a catalog number...
