  • Fixed:
  • When using the "Photo | Remove All Descriptions" menu command, the Description field of the selected entry wasn't cleared
  • The "Edit | Paste" menu command was enabled for the photos grid, which was not correct.
  • When pressing the Cancel button on the "Find" window, the previous find parameters in the status bar weren't cleared.
  • When clearing the group ("lasso") selection, if the photo with the focus was part of that group, its background color would not change.
  • The special-dates settings window did not respond to using keyboard shortcuts at all.
  • The Easter-related dot colors in the calendars wasn't set right, and didn't respond to color-selection changes.
  • The colors settings window did not respond to using keyboard shortcuts for actions such as copying and pasting.
  • The settings data file could get corrupted when the application was running when the computer was shut down or rebooted.

  • The Documentation Center is no longer a stand-alone window, but rather integrated into the main or pop-up windows of the application.
  • The yellow explanation area near the top of pop-up windows has been removed, due to the now integrated Documentation Center.

  • Fixed:
  • Sometimes entries were not removed when automatically removing obsolete photo files from a photo album.
  • When external changes were made to the folder and photos were removed, the text above the Photos grid wasn't updated.
  • Sorting by image height was using the full-size images' heights, but it needed to use the thumbnails' heights.
  • When sorting by image height, rotating the thumbnail image didn't move it to its proper location.
  • Changed:
  • Moved photo description text to a dedicated edit field below the Photos grid, to make editing of large texts easier.
  • Keyboard shortcut F6 now adds that dedicated edit field to its rotation (i.e. switching between the components of the main window).
  • Added more horizontal margin between the photos in the Photos grid, so that it is easier to see which one is selected.
  • The menu command "Photo | Rotate" is now "Photo | Rotate Left" (also changed the look of the matching toolbar button).
  • The menu command "Photo | Modify Photo" was moved to "Edit | Modify Photo".
  • Replaced "Photo | Display Format..." with "Photo | Main Window Display Columns | ..." to simplify display settings.
  • The above change also changes the maximum number of photos per row from 5 to 10.
  • Removed "Welcome to FRSPhotoViewer" announcement at start-up, because it caused problems in some installations.
  • Therefore, removed the "Settings | Play Welcome Message at Start-up" menu command.
  • The Documentation Center window's texts were updated.
  • The look of the "About FRSPhotoViewer" window.
  • Added:
  • The keyboard shortcut F7, which moves the focus to the next entry in the Photos grid.
  • The keyboard shortcut Shift+F7, which moves the focus to the previous entry in the Photos grid.
  • "OVR" in the status bar, to indicate whether or not over-typing is active for the "Description" field.
  • The menu command "Photo | Rotate Right" (and matching toolbar button).
  • The Documentation Center window can now be scrolled via these keys: up/down arrow, Page-Up/Down, Home, End.
