FStr Changelog

What's new in FStr 1.4.0

Sep 1, 2022
  • New away of inserting the longitudinal lengths, in linear and log formats, in an easy and intuitive way;
  • Log scale option in the vertical axis for the signature curve (very useful for viewing high and low load factors);
  • New parametric sections: I-shape, Wide Flange, and T-shape sections;
  • Verified and validated the cases of orthotropic materials. It includes transversal elastic modulus (Et), longitudinal elastic modulus (El), minor Poisson ratio (vtl), major Poisson ratio (vlt) and shear modulus (Glt), necessary to put in this order. In case of isotropic material, the Glt parameter is optional to insert.
  • New variable for the Polygonal Hollow Section, called alfa, for rotating the polygonal cross section;
  • New opening of the program, with a cleaner and minimalist logo;
  • New box for remembering the user that the analysis is ready;
  • Data from the parametric cross-sections is inserted in a more organized way;
  • Bug fixing when the FStr window is maximized during its initialization.
