  • All Editions:
  • Having effects be displayed as a different type or caliber is now simpler. (This can be done in the Effect Editor in the File menu)
  • FWsim Pro:
  • Custom extra data associated with your effect can now be changed not only in the “Fireworks Database” (Tools menu), but also in the Effects Editor in the File menu. There is also an option to display this window every time you save a new effect.
  • Better handling of inches as shell size on US computers (it’s still not perfect, and we aim to make further improvements in a later update)

  • The single shots that come with FWsim now all show up as 50mm. (Previously, some of them were stored as caliber 200mm).

  • Option to ignore errors during export. (FWsim checks for maximum number of modules as well as other things during export. Previously, FWsim refused to export a show if any of these checks fail. Now, FWsim will ask you whether to proceed with the export despite the data problems.)
  • Max module number for the Cobra firing system is now 200, not 100.

  • Use "Very High" quality setting for motion blur
