  • Fixed a bug that caused entering frequency values by note name (e.g. "A4") to always result in the maximum frequency value, and potentially cause a crash as well.
  • Updated plug-in for full compatibility with Mac hosts built specifically for macOS 10.14 (Mojave), such as Logic Pro 10.4.4, running under macOS 10.14.0 or 10.14.1. Previously this could lead to an all-black plugin interface.
  • Improved the way settings are saved when multiple plug-in instances are open to make sure the last setting that was chosen is saved correctly for new instances.
  • Added support for 300% scaling on 8K displays (High DPI) on Windows.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause incorrect scaling of the plug-in interface in Cubase 10 or Live 10 on High DPI displays in combination with certain graphics drivers on Windows.
  • Added a Refresh item to the Options submenu of the presets menu: this makes it possible to manually refresh the menu and any V1 Preset Folder submenu after a preset has been saved by an earlier plug-in version.
  • Fixed a bug on Mac that could cause program changes received by one plug-in to be forwarded to other FabFilter plug-in instances.

  • The VST 2.4 plug-in will now automatically adapt its channel layout to match the audio/track it is placed on. Note that the separate "(Mono)" version of the plug-in is still included for backwards compatibility.

  • Fixed a bug in the AAX and RTAS plug-ins with tempo/beat synchronization when using a signature other than 4/4.
  • In Pro Tools, a mono-to-stereo version of the AAX and RTAS plug-ins is now available, in addition to the existing mono and stereo versions.
  • Linked control changes using the Alt key now also work when using the mouse wheel.
  • Fixed a bug that caused text with multiple lines (such as the help hint label) to miss the last line of text on macOS Sierra (10.12).
  • Improved mouse wheel behavior on Windows with stepped parameters, e.g. on drop-down buttons.
  • Added a workaround for a bug in macOS Sierra (10.12) that prevented the help file from opening correctly. The help file is now displayed in a web browser rather than the Help Viewer.
  • Fixed an issue in the AAX plug-ins that could cause loss of existing automation data when writing automation in Automation Preview mode, for example when creating or deleting bands in Pro-Q 2.
  • Updated Windows help file to display correctly on High DPI monitors.
  • Fixed a bug in the AAX plug-ins that caused parameter values that are very close to the default value to remain at the default value when loading a session.

  • Now includes 64-bit AAX plug-in for Pro Tools 11. The 32-bit AAX plug-in has also been updated to the latest AAX v2 format and requires Pro Tools 10.3.5 or later.
  • Changing parameters via the mouse wheel will now correctly record automation and generate proper undo states. In addition, you can now also control switches with the mouse wheel.
  • In the presets menu, changed the Options > View Program/Bank Numbers command to Enable MIDI Program Changes, which now actually enables/disables MIDI program changes as well as showing the program/band number for presets. This ensures that the plug-in only responds to MIDI program changes when this is desired.
  • Fixed a bug that could prevent sample-accurate processing of recorded MIDI control change messages.
  • Fixed a bug on Windows that could cause a system sound to be played when pressing Enter after typing a parameter value directly.
  • Fixed bug in the VST3 plug-in that caused side-chain audition not to work if the main input was silent.

  • Added mouse wheel support to buttons with pop-up menus, such as the filter style buttons.
