What's new in FileOne 2.7.6d

- This release makes the use of F1 and D1 much easier due to more functions
- that allow drag and drop. You can now from your file manager use drag and
- drop data to the editors to automatically import corresponding data and to
- insert hyperlinks.
- It is also possible to insert hyperlinks by using drag and drop from the
- Treeview to the active editor.
- Bugs fixed:
- o Packager (to share Treeview and corresponding
- data with others) did not work any more.
- o Selective screenshot behaved strange on screen
- o Mac OSX, Minimize and Maximize of the program behave
- clumsy and strange.
- Note: this update is not yet available for MiniOne.

- Code cleanup for font support accross different OS platforms. Fonts do look better now (not too big not too small) inside the GUI of FileOne.
- When an email was received with unicode inside its subject but that subject was not specified as being an unicode formatted subject (does not follow the email standards), the receive of email would hang (it tried to receive more while it could not). FileOne creates a default subject with the name of sender in it if such email is received and continues without errors/hanging).
- Insert signature worked only for the default mail account, it now works for all email accounts.
- When testing the email connection, the test failed when there was a case sensitive login or password used.

- Bugs that have been fixed:
- User interface enhancements, more logical, more intuitive, less warnings,
- Add as email attachment, was too strict. It required you to be inside the Create, Edit, Send email tab. You can now use the Add as email attachment from any tab you are working,
- TIM/agenda events could not be created on some windows systems.
- A FileOne DB could be opened more then twice without a warning and an explicit Q/A.
- The display of email (brochures) could take in some cases minutes to load. Re-sizing FileOne with such an email active could also take tens of seconds. This gave the user the impression that everything hanged (which was not the case). Emails are now analyzed first and stripped (if they contain errors or when they are too complex) to a simplified layout,
- Emails with images in them could spray thousands (harmless) errors when those images where not inside FileOne already,
- Meeting requests from Microsoft/Lotus Domino where sometimes not understood,
- Playlists and slide shows could not be created on some Microsoft environments,
- Export of editor content to HTML was without UTF-8 encoding and that gave for a user weird HTML pages,
- Extended explanation in tooltips is added to inform the user how to deal with IMAP while still using FileOne,
- Stopping FileOne while some tabs had active content took too long,
- Import of contacts failed sometimes,
- Not all predefined websites in SMC browser could be loaded,
- Load of some websites failed in SMC browser (nothing happened),
- Spell check could remove the image if there was an image inside the text being checked,
- Some files could not be downloaded even if their meta information was correct,
- Corrected some spell check errors inside FileOne user interface,
- Some emails received by FileOne where discarded based on wrong security checks,
- Other bug fixes to improve usability, stability and speed.
